What happens if it’s a three-way tie on everything??

If the maths above is correct that would mean it would have to finish 6-9 in the Forest Chelsea game. I won't worry about that at this point seeing as it's never happened in top flight history🙂

9-3 to Chelsea in that game I believe (if we won 4-0 and Man City drew 2-2). Would take us all to 69 pts, 72 scored, 26 GD.

According to the handbook there is no difference between a two or three team tie. After points, GD, and goals scored it goes to H2H points and then H2H away goals. If still tied then there is a neutral site playoff.

The order would be City, Newcastle, Chelsea in that scenario that is not happening.

Neutral site playoff between three teams?

I think the assumption is it'd never get that far, but at a glance I'd say everything after goals scored appears like it hasn't given too much thought to the 3+ team scenario as there are some parts open to interpretation. Someday in the future someone is going to get screwed and then the handbook will be updated.

How many goals do Villa need to win by to overtake us? 😬😂😂

We absolutely have to win because there is no way Villa aren’t winning too. Before tonight I thought Man U would get at least a point but no chance that is happening now.

Aye, I would say it’ll be toxic, but I don’t think it’ll be even that, just completely flat and apathetic. Villa fans will dominate the noise.

If we do miss out on top 5, we'd be one of if not the favourites for the Europa League next season, you'd think? Not a bad consolation.

I think we would go in as favourites certainly.

Man Utd might get something from Villa game.. Atmosphere will be toxic if they lost again

Go a couple of goals down and I think it’ll just be half-empty.
