£75m outside of the league is fair. Not great though. I'd want £85m+ within the league. We paid £55m for Wissa, ffs. 😫 Not sure I'm going to get over that.

We paid £69m for Woltemade. I'm not even sure he's a better striker and that's not even Gordon's position.

I wouldn’t mind him going to a big 6 club as I don’t think he is good enough and they would be wasting money.

I predict he'll end up winning the treble with Bayern, top scorer in the CL and an insane amount of goal contributions overall

then other fans incredulous we let him go

Luis Diaz is much better than him so I don't think he'll start too many games in the CL knockout games.

But we've seen he can bully weaker opponents with his pace and physicality, which makes him a very good rotation option in Bundesliga.

Yeah he's not getting much recognition here like. He's easily our best winger, it's not even close. Selling him to an English side would be a disaster. Happy enough for him to go to Bayern if that's what he wants and the money is right. He's went about it the right way by the looks of it.

He'll be tough for us to replace I reckon

Agreed I think he can tear the weaker teams in the Bundes apart and he’s going to be good on the CL group stages. Then Diaz starts all of the tough knock outs or big Bundes games

Can we make our minds up whether he’s

a) a flat track bully

or

b) someone who only tries in the big games

Because those two would seem fairly contradictory…

He’ll basically be there Harvey Barnes

I think if he goes there he'll be the starter and Diaz will be the one to come off the bench when the right back is breathing out of his arse. Gordon is young with bags of energy, Diaz can save his legs for the clutch moments

A strong CL campaign a big factor.

For the buying club aye.  Doesn’t feel like a Newcastle player that has excelled and then moved on.  For all that Isak is awful - he deserved a big move and top wages.  As did the others

Thought Anthony may leave this coming summer, but considering the tragic season we have had I'm kinda getting worried about where we get goals from next season.

Serious task on this summer mind.

He’s a flat track bully, the problem is there isn’t many teams to bully in the PL.

He’s a player that thrives with space in behind and against slow fullbacks.

Most PL teams play a mid to low block against us and have defended first fullbacks. Gordon struggled against y that.

European teams come to play and have that failed winger bad defending fullback archetype that isn’t common in the PL anymore. Gordon eats against that.

Massive blow losing Gordon, we literally look like a team fighting relegation at the moment.

We failed to fix the right side of attack last summer, now the left side and striker position have huge question marks.

I actually think we’re in a bit of a perilous situation and it’s not beyond the realms we could mirror Spurs next season, unless they pull something out the bag this summer.

I think he is massively underrated my a lot of our fan base.

I said it a while ago but him and Bruno are the 2 I would like to keep (changed now if he wants to go…)

To a degree he has. Become a full international player, scored double figures in CL, double figures in goals and assists in the PL, played a huge part in our trophy run since he came from Everton.

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again.

Gordon needs to prepare himself mentally all week to have a good match. If something goes wrong, if a negative thought enters his head then he loses his mentality to go out there and perform.

It’s exhausting for him and you can see that at times he’s not going to be good mentally for a periods at a time.

He Absolitly can’t deal with a club being in bad form either, he’s not the one to turn things around.

We’ve also found out that he can’t deal with big games. He’s got himself sent off either in or ahead of big games for us, like ahead of the cup final, and against Liverpool this season. He also missed that penalty against Everton which would have won us the game, because the Everton crowd got into his head.

Despite what people say, including himself, he’s not good enough at finishing chances to play on the middle of a top 3.

If he thinks he will be able to go to the likes of Bayern, Liverpool, etc and not get found out, then good luck to him, but at £75m-£80m, I know which end of the deal I’d rather be on.

Bayern is not going to pay north of 50m.  Gordon has no lobby among football fans in Germany and I guess Eberl is going to wait and wait and wait until we eventually crumble. The worst scenario would be some kind of swap deal including Gnabry.

Then we do what we should have done with Isak, and we keep a hold of him until someone comes along and pays it.

I sooo hope this time we have the balls to do that.

England international with 4 years (?) left on his contract entering his prime years. If Bayern is seriously interested I don't think £75m will be an issue.

He's scored three goals. (Plus three pens).

Think that's the fifth time I've posted that.
