Ikon Posted Sunday at 17:35 Share Posted Sunday at 17:35 Elite mentality… more like a hamster!
Funtime Frankie Posted Sunday at 17:35 Share Posted Sunday at 17:35 Last season he was superb and played almost every game. This season has seen a drop in his performances and his frailities are become more evident. My main frustration is his short passing, he rarely uses the full back and most of this season seems to go to ground very easy.
Andy Posted Sunday at 17:36 Share Posted Sunday at 17:36 Wouldn't play him against Everton in the form he's in. Last thing we need is him doubling that poor form up with Main Character Syndrome, as he has done in that fixture in the past.
AngelofTheFourth Posted Sunday at 17:36 Share Posted Sunday at 17:36 Do liverpool want him? The problem is don't think we would actually make much profit from selling him with his current form. I just hope he gets better next season.
Myleftboot Posted Sunday at 17:36 Share Posted Sunday at 17:36 Could sell for 80 mill and replace with better from abroad.
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Sunday at 17:37 Share Posted Sunday at 17:37 I would consider starting Barnes and Murphy against Everton I think. I’d love a Gordon triumph story but he’s not helping himself at the moment.
Bellis80 Posted Sunday at 17:37 Share Posted Sunday at 17:37 Barnes has scored nearly as many league goals as Gordon did last season in half as many starts and is getting moved to accomodate him playing like this. Baffling.
aussiemag Posted Sunday at 17:37 Share Posted Sunday at 17:37 He is horrible when receiving possession in our own half. It’s heart in mouth stuff at the moment.
Aiston Posted Sunday at 17:37 Share Posted Sunday at 17:37 Moving on to Everton, he shouldn't start. Too many poor games vs them.
Ikon Posted Sunday at 17:38 Share Posted Sunday at 17:38 Let him dive to the fucking bench!

But I’ve been complaining about him most this season. Had an upturn in form after his new deal and had a good spell of 8-9 games off the top of my head. But he’s not looked like a player valued at £80m or whatever and one of our top earners. I find him really frustrating to watch most weeks. Seems he did the same at Everton as well which is why they all hate him.
Stifler Posted Sunday at 17:39 Share Posted Sunday at 17:39 Goes missing too often. Absolutely sick of him going down all the time as well. His head-loss ahead of the cup final was shambolic as well. The manager, a senior player or coach at the club needs to have a word with him, because he can’t go into next season with the same petulant attitude that he has had this season. Geogaddi Posted Sunday at 17:40 Share Posted Sunday at 17:40 If you had the Murphy commitment with the Gorden talent you would have one of the best wingers in the world .

Same people that jumped on his back after he didn't immediately start scoring when he signed. Not necessarily. I don't think folk are saying he's shite, just that he needs to get his head out his arse and show the same attitude as previous seasons (and not the attitude he had when he first arrived - which he is now displaying again). Erikse Posted Sunday at 17:42 Share Posted Sunday at 17:42 (edited) I agree with most here. Massive attitude change from last season for the worse. That's the first thing he needs to sort out. Edited Sunday at 17:42 by Erikse
Joe_F Posted Sunday at 17:42 Share Posted Sunday at 17:42 Even after he gave the ball away for the goal it was such a half-hearted attempt to win the tackle to get it back. Needs to do better.
TRon Posted Sunday at 17:42 Share Posted Sunday at 17:42 Very disappointing considering he's supposed to be a strike option when Isak is missing.
duo Posted Sunday at 17:42 Share Posted Sunday at 17:42 The lad needs a summer to re-group and a pre-season to rediscover his form / confidence.
AngelofTheFourth Posted Sunday at 17:42 Share Posted Sunday at 17:42 Did he want a move in January or something because since then he's been poor. its a shame
Gallowgate Toon Posted Sunday at 17:43 Share Posted Sunday at 17:43 Not loved the management of him all season, tbh.
Kid Icarus Posted Sunday at 17:43 Share Posted Sunday at 17:43 He was responsible for the goal but as I said in the match thread he was still our biggest threat and put in a few quality balls that someone should have been on the end of. Think the criticism of him is very OTT
STM Posted Sunday at 17:43 Share Posted Sunday at 17:43 I'll be honest, I can't say I've ever liked his body language. It's not a case of sell him etc but he needs brought back down to earth.
