Optimistic Nut
Who was the last young player we loaned to a PL club out of interest. Milner? Leeds would be a good move if they could guarantee him 20-25 starts or something. Again, I'd only loan him out if we could get a short term CM back up for a season. AyeDubbleYoo
We're not in a position to be loaning out decent first team squad members like, that's before you even consider where you would loan him to.
joeyt
Desperate to get some aggression into his game He often plays too safe, would love to see the shackles released from him
Sibierski
Loaning him out would be the most stupid decision yet. Not only lose him for European places, but then have to replace him at a cost, then risk him not even playing on loan and confidence gone.
Andy84
Seems like he’s been thrown under the bus after Monday. Needs game time

Sibierski
Game time this season will be limited, as it will for all outside the core XI (Gordon/Barnes/Murphy only rotation). One game a week, it’ll be roll with near same XI and changes in final 10 unless game is dead and buried either way. Next season, depending how we finish, he could be needed first early games for Euro qualifying and starting several games by October. If we’re in UCL, he’s got to be trusted to start league games as rotation will be needed then.

GEFAFWISP
Should probably sell at this point. Maybe even human sacrifice.

Elliottman
He's going nowhere, Howe has made that perfectly clear on numerous occasions.

The College Dropout
8 hours ago, andycap said: True but the manager he plays for may feel different. Thats the job of whoever is in charge of loans. Minteh went out on loan at a pretty high level, stepping up in levels not stepping down like Miley would be and quadrupled his value. 7 hours ago, AyeDubbleYoo said: We're not in a position to be loaning out decent first team squad members like, that's before you even consider where you would loan him to. If we qualify for CL we need much better squad quality depth. 7 hours ago, Sibierski said: Game time this season will be limited, as it will for all outside the core XI (Gordon/Barnes/Murphy only rotation). Optimistic Nut
Ideally he'd he'd 5-6th choice? 15-20 games max you'd expect, mainly in cups and lesser teams. Swap loan for Ndidi or something.
Sandrotastico
All the subs were shite on Monday, hard game to come into, as we had already switched to 5th gear. But he looked a little lost.
Kanj
The Minteh loan deserves an asterisk, he went to Feyenoord and played for Slot. Who won them a title, had CL exposure etc. Slot then goes to England and shows his chops by (probably) winning the PL title. While that’s a tough repeat scenario, ideally if Miley goes out on loan it’s to a proper coached side with history of developing players.

Elma
No way we should think of selling, and after losing Anderson I don't think Howe will entertain it. It would have to be a last PSR resort and I don't think we're in that hole any more? A loan, maybe with a recall option maybe.
Kimbo
With Longstaff presumably on the way out (and not as good), and Willock struggling to regain form, Miley should get plenty of game time next season.
