If you’ve ever been to an old firm have its day and night from what they were like in the 80s and Celtic at home against anyone else is similar to palace imho - the green brigade stop but most of the rest if the ground is quiet. Heard on the grapevine couple of weeks ago from someone who works at the club it's going to be a new stadium. Devastating news for all the old timers who have had to put up with some awful changes since the new owners came in. The only good news is that is going to take at least ten years so we will have our historic home for a long time yet. I was certainly not one of the people dancing in the streets when the takeover went through just having a quiet pint on the seafront in Benidorm wondering what all the fuss was about. Of course there club are going to try and gee the crowd up, I’d be amazed if similar didn’t happen before the semi finals in the 90’s.
