Rangers and Celtic are great when they’re away (especially v a team south of the border). If you’ve ever been to an old firm have its day and night from what they were like in the 80s and Celtic at home against anyone else is similar to palace imho - the green brigade stop but most of the rest if the ground is quiet. Been to more Celtic games than Rangers but assume there the same against st mirren and Kilmarnock etc

Below comment on the mag shows we have so many fans who offer nothing in terms of at atmosphere and backing to the team, awful changes...what bringing in some top class players like Isak in and competing to get into Europe.....

Heard on the grapevine couple of weeks ago from someone who works at the club it's going to be a new
stadium. Devastating news for all the old timers who have had to put up with some awful changes since the new
owners came in. The only good news is that is going to take at least ten years so we will have our historic home
for a long time yet. I was certainly not one of the people dancing in the streets when the takeover went through
just having a quiet pint on the seafront in Benidorm wondering what all the fuss was about.

Pretty sad that the club, Wor Flags, the supporters club, and now even Bruno have felt the need to take to social media to try to get the fans going for tomorrow.

Nothing should need to be said, no encouragement to turn up and shout yourself hoarse should be needed for a game of this magnitude. But it is.

Good to see a lot of people calling it out too.

Looking at comments you can see the miserable fans by the comments.."the players need to get the fans going" or people going "there hasn't been a wor flags display" for a while...FFS they just don't get it

Are you not just mistaken ‘sad’ for ‘modern day football’?!

Isn’t this just the age we live in with content being pushed down your throat? Of course there club are going to try and gee the crowd up, I’d be amazed if similar didn’t happen before the semi finals in the 90’s. But now there’s just more ways to shove it down your neck, there’s more people involved, more platforms.

The fans don’t NEED to be told, every single person in the stadium will be collectively shitting themselves/excited as fuck tomorrow including me.

The Wor Flags displays are brilliant and should help get it going from the off and then continue during the game. Everyone sings along and it sounds even louder with the idiot DJ having the volume turned up to 11. Then the whistle goes and everyone sits down in silence.

As if people are blaming the players or the lack of a flag display for the shit atmosphere

If you’re going into a cup semi final 2nd leg saying “the players need to get the fans going” or anything of that nature then you shouldn’t be going to the fucking match.

Watch it at home on the telly instead and you can bitch & moan for the entire game at the top of your voice if that’s what makes your willy tingle.

You’ll be happy as a pig in shite and your miserable fucking dial will have no impact on other fans or what the payers feel on the pitch.

Do the right thing and let someone who wants to get behind the side have the ticket.

Everyone’s a winner.

I am afraid that Fan X will do what he likes because he's been doing what he likes (that is moaning, being miserable and not contributing to the atmosphere in any positive way) in the same seat for 13 millenia.

If we can't get a decent atmosphere going for a cup semi final when we are 2-0 up then we may as well not bother . If it's intimidating and vile as fuck towards Arsenal no way will they turn the tie around.

Could just make the Arsenal players wear Sean Longstaff masks and it’d be a vile as fuck atmosphere for them from the second they walk out the tunnel

Every touch of the ball would be greeted with screams of negativity and violent outbursts of anger

Atmosphere has been poor consistently this season compared to the previous 2.

However, the club need to wind their neck in a little as the changes they have made to ticketing is definitely one of the factors.

The Semis in the 1990s were at neutral venues so the SJP malaise didn't really come into play there.
