Definitely not. At this point I'd normally say these fuckers should just stay in the pub and watch it so they can eat and drink until their heart is content and let people who actually want to be there actually go.

Based on yesterday's empty seats though, you can't even say that anymore.

It’s only really the ST resale that’s demonstrating a reduction in demand. The ballot and general sale are still selling out. The general sale is slower to sell out than in the past, but it still sells out.

Issue with ST resale is that the availability goes up in the days before the game, which is the time when demand from members is lowest. Lots of people will have made other plans by that point. And anyone who isn’t local will have to sort last minute travel etc.

I'm at the point now where I'm being priced out of going regularly.

I can't justify around £100 per match 3 or 4 times month and that's more gutting than anything else really and I believe this is also impacting on the atmosphere 🤷

Aye it’s been relentless this season particularly. Feels like every couple of days in Feb I was forking out for another ticket.

There was absolute chaos on the trains yesterday after a broken down train at Doncaster blocked the line. Our train to Berwick was delayed over 2 hrs (we managed to get on a Trans Pennine that started from Newcastle) but loads of trains going North were either cancelled or massively delayed. Judging by the amount of NUFC fans getting off trains I'd say a fair few would have been affected and missed the match which would explain some gaps in the stands.

anyone in the away end on saturday? Always a good barometer to see if the away following has turned, seemingly like the majority of the rest of the fanbase has

I was. Thought it was dead but wasn't anti Howe by any stretch.. Though I was about 6-8 pints deep by kick off so probably not the best person to ask.

Was no real anti Howe on saturday, the worst I've seen was after our defeat to Palace 2 weeks ago.

Wasn't so much Howe but people shouting fuck off to the players at the end when they came over to applaud the fans. Wasn't directed at any individual, more the whole lot I'd assume.

Thought returned standing tickets on Saturdays noise travelled well tbf, so it's a shame that all these stadium improvements they didn't just extend railing along from away fans as a minimum.

Also think would of been a lot better if the voice of the fan advisory board was from Wor Flags or Supporters club particularly after they actively do a survey.

Says it all when members of that board are more interested in connectivity, than actual things that would improve the atmosphere.

Thought the atmosphere was really poor today - hardly any singing when the players came out at the beginning, so not just down to how game went. Only got going for about 5-10 mins after we went 1-0

Fair enough I don't go to away games these days (only done Leverkusen this season which was excellent tbf) but lads I know who still travel say it's been absolutely shite this season. Ticket checks have fucked it sadly meaning those who sit in silence at home games can now go down the road and do the same there. Nowhere near as many young radge cunts as what thwre used to be.

Only really heard us twice on the telly today. We are the Geordies, the Geordie boot boys, and Who's that team..

So much whinging as well. I know we weren't very good on the pitch today but it was like a home game with all the whinging

Went to all the last 4 league games there since Forest came back up and Sunday was the flattest one yet. Understandably so, like. But was a bloke directly behind me, block X1 (at the front at where it splits between upper and lower?), giving Woltemade absolute dog's abuse in the first half. 'Useless German cunt, I'll fly him back to Germany mesel, look at the useless cunt he's just wandering about' amongst others. Felt like having a pop but didn't fancy the aggro. Was horrid to listen to. Not heard anything like it against one of our own players in an away end post takeover.

It's a brilliant song. First time I witnessed it was at Tynecastle back in 1992 when NUFC played Hearts there for John Robertsons Testimonial and they were all waving their scarves over their heads at the same time. Very impressive.  Superb stadium they've got these days. Really keeps the noise in.

Off top of my head as was a while ago… asked for recommendations. Would you move seats to be in or out a designated section etc… Basically what you’d expect.

Scottish teams have some great songs. Sunshine on Leith at Hibs is class. Rangers and Celtic have plenty  meanwhile our away fans were singing football in a library the other day

Meh.

Who's started to sing stuff like that...never understood singing about home support when every ground has a poor atmosphere.

All songs you can sing about Newcastle to get behind the lads why do people sing stuff like that.
