It's three years since I gave up my season ticket, surely things haven't changed that much Got asked to sit down on Tuesday night as I was standing up waiting for Schar to take his penalty. Usually I would have told the miserable cunt to fuck off because he'd be likely standing up in a minute anyway when we go 1-0 up but as I had the bairn with me I restrained myself. Imagine my shock when he did score and around 50% of the people around me remained seated. Didn't even celebrate the goal. They were OK to stand literally 30 seconds later mind when they were off for their HT piss/pint. This was the Gallowgate End by the way. Not the Platinum Club or the East Stand. Then you're talking their language Edited October 4 by bobbydazzla
AyeDubbleYoo
There’s arguments on both sides for standing up I guess. More debatable than telling you to stop singing anyway. I normally watch those moments either perched on the back of my seat or in a half crouch so I don’t block the person behind me Edited October 4 by AyeDubbleYoo

AyeDubbleYoo
Aye, standing as a reaction is normal and you have to be a prong to complain about that. Edited October 4 by AyeDubbleYoo

Doctor Zaius
The least ive ever seen a goal celebrated like. It was quite pathetic. I was stood at the back of the Gallowgate most of the game. Was better than sitting, thats for sure. Edited October 4 by Doctor Zaius
Choppy Chop Chop
One of the reason I stopped going I found it more and more difficult to leap to my feet when we scored. My voice gives out after about 30 seconds of shouting. I miss it though, shouting at the telly isn't the same. In close matches I walk the floor (Good exercise). It will never be the same as pre seated stadiums. I think we need a bigger stadium so like minded fans can stand or sit together even if these means the stadium not being full every match. Tross
Last Season I was asked to sit down in the platinum for Isak's pen v West Ham. He was a proper awld bastard like so I did. To my surprise though most of the platinum were actually sat down for the pen.

Middle tier is mainly miserable bastards who've sat there since it was built in 1994. Were in their 30s and 40s back then but now in their 60s and 70s. Groundhog63
Not playing devil's advocate here but why do people, who buy tickets for an all seated stadium, think it's ok to stand thus impairing the views of other people who bought tickets in an all seated stadium? Entitlement? Zero fucks given? I mean I'd prefer to stand but that's not the point. Also, and I may be a freak of nature, I can sing while I'm sat down. Bizzare, really 😉

Bizzare, really 😉 Tbf for something like a penalty when there's a 90% chance people are going to be celebrating a goal imminently it's pretty much commonplace to stand whilst it's being taken and that's everywhere. You heard more out of them for that than you would for a goal.
