What was the reason for benching him? I thought that he had done really well. Was he not fit or slightly injured?

Their starting number 9 (Giminez) was suspended fot the first game which is why he started. It’s no shade on him really as Giminez is an undisputed starter.

I’m not watching it, seems there are a lot unhappy that he hasn’t been subbed off at half time

He's done OK but fluffed a one on one (soft straight at keeper), took on a ridulous chip from the bye line when probably should have held it up and shot into a crowd after cutting in when others were better placed for the lay off. Encouraging that he's getting into these positions though.

He does seem to have the ball glued to his feet at times. Albeit in a rather untidy fashion. But the fact he seems to be able to ‘stumble’ past tackles so repeatedly, suggests it’s an ability he has, rather than just luck.

Seems strong if someone gets a block in. He's still able to get past.

If you saw the champions league game, he had 0 concerns over the occasion - while he probably should have done better with this 1 v 1 it was a tighter chance and Oblak did well to rush him. Every other time he had the ball he was decisive and direct. Nearly scored the equalizer at the death too. Id 100% say this kid is fearless.
