Is it still the case that the previous season’s top six can’t play each other on the first and last days ?

Not for opening days. Arsenal played Man City in 2018, Man Utd played Chelsea in 2019, Spurs played Man City in 2021. Final days that does still seem to be the case nowadays.

It's for TV in case they'd have nowt to play for.

Sure, but any game could have nothing to play for. Seems nonsensical to me to purposely avoid matchups between the previous seasons top 6 in the final week(s) because, while they could be meaningless, they could also be the game of the season.

They can still be the home team at a neutral venue………spurs played home games at Wembley for a while.

Aye, whilst their stadium was being built.

Luton have requested only their 1st match is away from home, the same as Liverpool. Both will be acoomdated.

Man Utd at home against Luton so I'd say that looks realistic.

Mostly stinkers but Brighton v Arsenal and Chelsea v Man City would be decent.

Being away on the first day doesn't bother me, just want a home game on the last day.

Burnley v Liverpool on TNT Sport on Saturday lunchtime is the most BT/TNT Sport Saturday lunchtime fixture you can get.
