Tonalis Bookie
dont put yourself through this lad, just go for your own sake
Myleftboot
It’s like when your son plays for a boys club and he’s a decent player but the coach won’t play him and your standing on the sidelines raging.😅
hakka
Tonali. Here he is.

Erikse
I feel like he should've started (due to the opposition), but can't really say with confidence that it was a bad decision after that result and performance. nufcjb
Wished Barnes squared it to him in that last minute. He would have scored no doubt.
nufc123
Should not be sitting on the bench, but we are winning so cant be too angry.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
He’s so quick and carries the ball really well.
Geogaddi
He's obviously a brilliant player but it clearly doesn't work with him Bruno and Joelinton in midfield and we look a better team without the three of them in the middle .

They looked great there at the though. With Sandro central. Joelinton RW. Bruno doing whatever he pleases. It’s just that Longstaff is also the glue. I wanted to see Longstaff off with Tonali central and Bruno rcm. What we got was Tonali and Longstaff central and Bruno doing whatever he wanted to do. Which was Marvellous. STM
I think this spell of him being an impact player might do him some good. I still feel like he's growing into the league. I don't want anyone to get injured but... it might be a better way for him to get his place back. He's also looked so much better more central and slightly deeper. LiquidAK
If Big Joe solves our RW issue then I'm very happy with a combination for Bruno, Sandro, Willock and Longstaff in the midfield 3. Some nice options there. Feel like the first 3 are where we're really going to shine but Longstaff has looked back to his best these last 2 games, so very happy for him to be in there. Feels like he's a confidence player and his confidence took such a kicking after playing injured for half a season, it's taken an age to build him back up
The College Dropout
We looked sharp and stronger through the middle when he came on.
David Edgar
He played the game state well. Lots of long, direct runs into the space Notts Forest left open.
David Edgar
And of course, the goal to take the lead and the third goal involved Tonali carrying the ball a good distance. Big impact.
Kanji
JL right or left. Gordon right or left. Tonali central. Willock left cm and Bruno rcm would do for me.
Erikse
2 of our goals came after he was subbed on. Wouldn't say that this game proves that we are better of without him.. Whether he would have made us better as a starter over someone else today is a different question.
Kanji
Wonder if he’ll really come into his own as the rest of the team is firing
Tsunami
He needs to become Longstaff in his work rate and tenacity. The undeniable truth is that we’re more balanced with Longstaff and it’s all about that little extra “effort”. It’s difficult to put a finger on it but it’s just there. Call it a water carrier, dirty work or whatever, but it’s crucial. Bruno hasn’t got the game for it, neither does Jo, Tonali has and if he does we will be so much better. On a separate but related note; a fit, confident, Willock makes such a difference. He’s the one player who can glide past a player from midfield at pace and make a run into space. Reminds me a little of Dyer, not as dynamic with his running but certainly offers something different.
