Hanshithispantz Posted Friday at 19:50 Share Posted Friday at 19:50 (edited) He grew up in a poor household, and to touch up an old strip of his beloved lads, his mother coloured the white stripes in with a sharpie, hence the love of his 2nd team, AC Milan. healthyaddiction Posted Friday at 19:57 Share Posted Friday at 19:57 In fact, direct quotes that imply he's previously turned down Inter because of his love for AC: I was thinking about when I could have gone to Inter. I never accepted it. It wasn’t because they weren’t a strong team, but I didn’t consider myself 100% happy about making that choice. Every day there was talk about it. I spoke with my agent, and i had big doubts. It was a mountain I didn’t want to climb. The call from Paolo Maldini changed everything, it made me happy, and I said: ‘Either I go to Milan or I stay at Brescia.’ My dad passed this bond with Milan on to me. I used to have breakfast with a red and black Gattuso cup, and when it broke, I made my mom fix it piece by piece. When the transfer was finalized, I asked Rino for permission to wear his number 8.”
Billy Warthog Posted Friday at 21:31 Share Posted Friday at 21:31 Martyn Ziegler of The Times just posted a scare story about Tonali facing a further betting investigation. https://www.thetimes.com/sport/football/article/sandro-tonali-gambling-investigatioin-newcastle-cx0jl20lb In fact, he isn't... Quote Newcastle are understood to have been assured the [new] investigation relates to the original case that led to Tonali being banned from football for ten months and that he will not face further sanctions. But the headlines, right? And out come the wankers shouting for another ban... mostly scousers btw.
et tu brute Posted Friday at 23:22 Share Posted Friday at 23:22 Mackems getting hard ons over the headline on RTG. Desperation again on a nothing story. The level of threads containing increased faux outrage, comfy blankets, not interested in footy anymore, and the usual basic lies since our cup victory, have went up quite a dramatic level. I thought when our takeover happened, their response and utter fewm/bitterness was glorious to see, but, our cup win has sent them madly over the edge. Us getting Champions League football will send them over the edge, whilst if we don't, it will be seen as one of the greatest days in their footballing lives. We may well be playing them next season, as the standard is the worst I've ever seen in the Championship, and I wouldn't put money on any of the play off teams who qualify winning. Could quite literally be any of them. I would have preferred Burnley or Leeds to finish in third, but, it's looking more like a Sheff Utd team in poor form will be the ones. If the mackems don't go up this year, then they will be forced to sell players and have another three teams within the league with a lot more revenue available to them. Doesn't affect us, they are miles away from us and that will only increase moving forward.
