Selling Gordon, Tino and Tonali while

also needing several other replacement players would certainly be interesting.

Well summer will certainly be transformational but could be transformed into actual relegation team

It's probably as you say, but the money you all think you're getting from Gordon is unrealistic.

Even if we can't get 70m for Gordon we can get 60m, our full back tino will also likely depart for at least 50m. No way we need to raise 110m

Maybe we do if we want shot of the players who aren’t 100% committed to the club. We are losing / have lost some very good pros recently, Laschelles, Trippier, Kraft etc. no point forcing anyone to stay who doesn’t really really really want to be here.

We definitely don't have to sell him, we have other players who we either want to let go OR are closer to an exit.

It also depends how big a rebuild we are going to do. A GK, MF and some back ups wont throw us into any must sell situation.

I want to keep him but only if he is committed and start putting everything into games again. Think all the rumours has messed with his head a bit. He is a top quality player.

That said there are other players I would be much sadder to lose. The key is not selling him to Liverpool or any other premier league club!

You have to consider that the player market in the UK is doped on player price tags... in a world where Elanga is paid 55 then Gordon is definitely worth 80, in the rest of Europe Elanga wouldn't be signed by anyone even for 25 and Gordon could be valued at 50 (maybe).

We're not talking about someone like Bruno G. or a potential phenomenon like Hall who deserve high valuations... we're talking about a left winger who has problems with ball control and who technically is light years away from someone like Luis Diaz, aka the one he should be competing with for the spot !!

Bayern Munich have already agreed terms by all reports, and we know Liverpool were prepared to pay £70m two years ago.

Newcastle will sell players like Gordon and Tonali, but only if the price is right. Otherwise we could sell Wissa and Woltemade and raise funds if we need to. I think sales of Gordon and Tonali are only being considered because they want to leave, otherwise I think we are not in any desperate financial need to sell after the Isak sale.

I mean, you’re pretty much bang on with everything you’ve said. But I do think we’ll get £70 million for him from someone.

In PL you could sell him for that price, there is zero chance that Bayern or anyone else in Europe would pay 70/80 for Gordon.

I'm pretty sure if Gordon played for Aston Villa or Man Utd none of you would want to buy him for 80.

You have already increased the price to £80m when I was suggesting £70m so I think you realise it's not an unreasonable fee.

Our fans have gone cool on him because of the stories of him leaving, but just a couple months ago they were singing his name regularly.

He's a proven performer, his stats back this up, and he can play as a striker as well. Of course he's worth £70m. Possibly more.

Maybe but we are not selling Gordon for 50m to Bayern. Half the PL will pay 50m for him so its not unrealistic as you say. Gordon will go for 65m+.

Yes we were, at the grounds, maybe not on here.

Plus how much did Bayern pay for Jackson? They pay when they need to.

Wouldn’t mind getting rid of Gordon as long as there is a concrete plan in place for getting someone in to fill the gap.

After last summer I have absolutely zero confidence that this is the case in the slightest.

City signed Semenyo for a similar fee to what you think is fair for Gordon... I don't think I'll offend anyone if I say that this two players are not technically and physically comparable.

Semenyo had a release clause for 65m. Gordon doesn't.

If tonali tino gordon leave I think we will be in big trouble finding replacements along with all the released and leaving players to replace aswell.

Could be around 12 players that need to be brought in.

Gordon is also an England International and done it at CL. Was a gamble for citeh. Still is. Watch him today, and he's not the class they need imho (neither is Gordon) and they'll outgrow him.

I'll make you laugh, Leao has a €175m release clause...this summer, God willing, we'll get rid of him with the first idiot who offers us €60m.
