I'd also like a CM who either is good at playing between the lines as an attacking mid, or a more defensive midfielder, giving us more balance and options 

 

Though I feel we are stacked at midfield and can't see us adding their for a while, unless we sell someone or even 2 since we have - Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Willock, Longstaff and Miley

Gallagher was a full international, doing well, and he was forced out to fund a KDB buy.

 

Everyone is available at Chelsea, and if they need sales, it will be the ones who have a market they need to sell.

I certainly wouldn't happily move them on no. Next season they'll hopefully both be back-ups but they'll still be very capable 3rd/4th choices. Where on earth do you think we will find the money to sign a 3rd and 4th choice CB of their standing when we have so many other issues to address?

Again, he supported it in the summer. Sure. But he also came out and said he'd relook at the entire thing. He also said for that specific window it would be mad to not support the work already done.
