RobsonsWonderland
Oh it's almost like someone wants to cause unrest before we play our next game... Wonder who we are playing??

I’m sure we can get those 2 and Trafford for just a bit over 100m and I’d class that as a very successful summer.
Andy84
One place I would be worried about Isak going isn’t Arsenal, it’s definitely Liverpool. I think they could do that deal

Trafford is going to be what, north of £20m? They paid £15m plus add-ons two years ago. Quite a bit over £100m if you then consider Mbuemo is probably going for £60-70m if he leaves Brentford. McCormick
Mbeumo has like a year left on his contract (with them likely extending another year) and you’d imagine he’d push for a move this summer so I’d say 50m? Huijsen has a release clause but it doesn’t mean there isn’t a deal to be had around 40 odd? Trafford will go for 20m probably. So like 110ish in the scenarios I’ve basically just dreamt up . 120m gets them all imo.
janpawel
I'm really hoping it's RW, RCB, and GK minimum, not including departures (though we deffo will see a departure at GK I'm sure) Then recruitment at full back, CM, and front line depending on what we do with Trips/Target, Willock/Longstaff, Barnes/Wilson etc
SUPERTOON
Personally wouldn’t go for Huijsen, again similar to last summer, we need to find better value. Same with Mbuemo, that ship has sailed. We spend big on those two, we will be in the exact same PSR mess.

Everybody and their dog is going to be in for Huijsen so why would Bournemouth accept an offer that low under the release clause?

You must buy the next Hujisen and Mbuemo. Zhegrova is a name. His contract ends in 2026, you can sign him for 20/25m and he is a 50m player. Cherki, the same. Last year i recommended for you Lacroix, Palace signed him for 15m and now he is worth the double. You must be smart and avoid the inflated PL market. Ketsbaia
Cannot stand most of our squad anymore, even just looking at them. Would love to keep 4 or 5 and tell the others to fuck off but don't quite think it'll happen. An overhaul is absolutely essential.
Jewel
Whoever we get in the summer, technical ability and the ability to keep the ball is an absolute must. I know Howe loves an athlete that can run and press all day long. He seems to prioritise these aspects too highly IMO. We need to move away from this and start targeting players with a bit of vision, intelligence and flair. Less robotic and more flair. I would love us go out and sign a David Silva type player. This group of lads have given me some of the best moments supporting Newcastle since the SBR days I'm not denying we need an overhaul but telling them to fuck off and you can't stand them? Have some respect. They may not be good enough any more but they've run through brick walls for us

I’m trying to catch ahold of myself and remember where we are, how quickly we’ve got here and how this group of players have been the most likeable and relatable in my whole time supporting the club. I go well overboard at times and will probably continue to do so tonight even after typing this out But I think we just have too many players that we have outgrown. Yet we are unable to upgrade because of PSR. Along with others who should be squad players. Who are having to play every week regardless of form, fitness or age. The players and Howe don’t deserve a load of abuse.
The Prophet
I know we're in a pretty wretched run of form, but we're two points off a Champions League spot and in a League Cup final. Sure we might run out of steam simply due to lacking sufficient quality, but I doubt you'll find a more likeable group of Newcastle players for some time. Unfortunately, that kind of entitlement and disdain towards the players is pretty common in SJP.
