I really like Ramos and Muani.

Asensio is 29 and so no point really.

Would be tempted by Ramos, Muani, Kang In Lee and £50 million.

If we do have to lose Isak I just pray to God it will be abroad.

The way Arsenal and now Liverpool fans are so certain they are going to get him if we don't get Europe is really impossibly annoying.

Sell him purely so I don't have to see these absurd rumours tbh

At this point I'm just looking forward to the end of the season and all of this being resolved.

Arsenal and Liverpool fans are so insufferable and annoying at the minute.

If he goes it absolutely has to be abroad.

The upside of these poor runs of form is that we get to hear from lads and lasses who exclusive post during these times. It's good to catch up.

some right miserable cunts on this board.

good luck to whoever sits next to them in the final - either in the ground or in front of the tv.

Still maintain no English club can afford Isak this summer.

£160m transfer fee (minimum) plus 10-20% signing on fee plus around £20m in wages.

if he really pushes to leave we may have to drop our demands.

Would they not pay say £30 million a season for 5 year ?

I'd take less money if it means he goes abroad, Arsenal are out of the picture but I'd hate to see him in a Liverpool shirt.

I'd have to sack of next season.

Carragher would be impossible to stomach man.

God help us.

Why do we? He's got 3 years on his contract. What's he going to do? Not playing until he's nearly 29?

the old "dont want to keep an unhappy player around to upset the squad,"

doesnt seem to be a sulker though.

Caicedo wanted out of Brighton, they held on and got what they wanted. Rice wanted out of West Ham, they held out and got what they wanted. Kane wanted a move to Man City, Tottenham didn't sell because City didn't offer enough. Even Gordon throwing out his toys at Everton still ended with us paying what Everton wanted (I think).

Unless the cards are in the players hands because their contract is low, I really don't think having a sulk will affect the fee a club demands.

Agree with this. Miami, Ramos and Lee Kangin actually does resolve a lot of our issues. Up front and at RW. If we got £50m too it also neutralises the 63m we paid. We could flesh out the squad at RcB, GK, CM etc.

would hate to see him leave and he would destroy the French league but it does logically improve us overall.

What a loser mentality.

Give over man. Do you really think he's gonna be here for the next 5 years? Absolutely no way. We can't give him what he needs and deserves. If we weren't hampered by PSR then maybe we could tempt him to stay. He's miles too good for us presently. Nothing to do with a loser mentality, it's football. 🤦‍♂️

Didn’t used to be. 3yrs is 3yrs. It’s not all about what the players needs/deserves. Clubs are trying to build teams strategically. That’s why they are given contracts.

The seeming modern acceptance that a player can do what he wants has massively crept in to the football fans psyche. As if they’ve almost been brainwashed constantly for years from pundits all associated with the “big 6” or journalists turned broadcasters due to paper sales dying and the public profile of players agents and other grifters rising.

Funny that…

I get all that but we just wouldn't make him see out a contract if he hinted at all that we weren't meeting his ambitions. I'm not saying he has but he knows is own worth and talent. He'll want to win trophies, play Champions league regularly and we're nowhere near offering him that. Wouldn't blame Isak at all. It's a short career.

Yes, deserves. Don't you think he deserves to play top level football regularly? Or should we expect him to tread water with us while we take years to be able to compete? Mental.
