gbandit
Enough to whet the appetite this. When Suds comes to play he’s got his gaming chair, his cans of monster energy drink, a full cargo of elite porn and a Blu-ray copy of Moneyball ready to play at any given moment

Looks like a project player which is fine but we need a replacement for Pope not a No2 to ‘challenge’ in the future.

Highly unlikely Howe will trust a young keeper from the French second tier to come straight in. If we aren’t buying a more experienced keeper it would suggest Pope will be the starting No1 next season which concerns me massively.

We've already tried to sign at least 2 or 3 replacements. It's a known weakness.

KaKa
Eddie Howe suggested Newcastle will not be in the market for a striker this summer. Yoane Wissa and Nick Woltemade both arrived for big money last summer following the departure of Alexander Isak, but have struggled to replicate the Sweden international’s impact. But asked if a centre-forward is on the list of priorities this summer, the Newcastle boss said: “Certainly not at the moment, because in terms of the striker numbers we’ve got, we’ve got healthy numbers in that position. “I’d say it’s been a challenge for us, trying to find the right balance, trying to find a way to continually score goals and create the amount of chances that we want to. I don’t think we’re quite there yet. “I think we’ve got work to do in that area but obviously Yoane (Wissa) has had fitness struggles, Will Osula has really grown late into the season and I think he’s done really well in recent games, of course Anthony (Gordon) has played there, Nick (Woltemade) has played there and done well earlier in the season. “I think the players are there, we’ve just got to try and bring it all together and make it work.”

John P
Well he looks absolutely mint . Seriously though, for a 20 year old keeper he looks like he can do the lot in that video - sweeping up outside his box, he's massive, passes out well off both feet, as well as some great saves. Oh and scores penalties, most importantly

One is probably off in the summer and isn’t a striker One is not a striker and should be being utilised as a number 10 and seems not to fit EH playing style One is nothing more than a squad back up (he is a nice lad but nowhere near good enough for the level we should be aspiring to) And one is glue in the making… We better be looking to be in the market
