Actually ended up watching some clips to see what he looked like, and if he ever featured on the right side. Looked pretty comfortable on both sides, which would be ideal. Seems to be highly thought of and is a bit of a wonderkid as they say.
Emotic Posted yesterday at 10:29 Share Posted yesterday at 10:29 Not really a winger though, tbf. Powerful, direct centre-forward type. Like a Liam Delap, which is not a bad thing at all.
STM Posted yesterday at 10:33 Share Posted yesterday at 10:33 Not a link but a suggestion. Matheus Fernandes looked very good against us yesterday, he's 20 years old. Perhaps more of a 10 but we do need different profiles.

Scottish Mag Posted yesterday at 10:42 Share Posted yesterday at 10:42 (edited) YouTube scouting his goals from last season he looks like he has potential - 12 in 30 games at only 18. Doesn’t seem to have been getting as many chances this season. He was linked with the Mackems only a couple of days ago https://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/football/sunderland-afc/sunderland-linked-with-ps17m-loan-to-buy-transfer-package-for-international-attacker-4959804 Edited yesterday at 10:43 by Scottish Mag

Can see why we were interested and I think it would be a good project signing for Arsenal too. Wouldn’t break the bank and in a year or 2 he could be the striker they need. Also, if rumours are true then Frankfurt are looking at signing Wahi so they might be open to Ekitike leaving for the right price. Ekitike and really moreso his agent, definitely mugged us off, but my God he is absolute quality. Arsenal are so dumb. He's really who they should be looking at. I agree he is a similar sort of profile to Isak, and on top of that he's French! So their Henry fantasies can truly be fulfilled! Sounds like you've seen some of him in live action, any further info on his versatility? Looks like a real talent at just 18. STM Posted yesterday at 10:53 Share Posted yesterday at 10:53 (edited) I can't even type this cunts name into youtube. Edit: OK so I managed to find some videos of him. One of his finishes reminded me of Aguero and then the next video was titled "the Turkish aguero". Get him signed. I think we will go for a young forward to replace Wilson so either this guy or Stefanos Tzimas who have both scored lots in their division. It's hard to attract a top forward as they know they will be second fiddle to Isak.

Isak, Osula and a young wonderkid talent might be the approach. Probably makes the most sense Edited yesterday at 11:50 by KaKa

Might be a bit positonless in a Howe system.

STM Posted yesterday at 14:49 Share Posted yesterday at 14:49 I really like Norgaard at Brentford. He's 30 but he's out of contract. He gets about the pitch, he plays DM so would be a viable understudy to Sandro for when we have Europe. He's their captain, so his attitude is solid. We should learn from Liverpool with players like Milner and Thiago etc. He's a cost effective way of navigating the next window. Just a suggestion. Disco Posted yesterday at 15:11 Share Posted yesterday at 15:11 Sounds like this young Turkish chap is a mix of Hakan Şükür, Hakan Şaş, and İlhan Mansız. Very worrying that he might be lazy or greedy though.

Saw him the other week for Frankfurt - he's quality and you can see why he fitted that Isak profile we were seeking. All the top teams are too busy talking about Gyokeres/Sesko, but Ekitike would be a shrewd signing imo Edit: Just saw Frankfurt signed him permanently for £15M. Bargain really. And one who would be behind Gordon and Barnes? Left footed RW and if he can cover for Isak all the better. I am willing to gamble Osula makes big strides this spring and summer as so many young players do under Howe. Sounds like we will be lucky to get a RW and RCB so we should focus on players who fit those two positions.

Think Big Willie will come good, maybe he could also play RW. Anyway I’d be happy to see anyone in that gives us an option!
rebelrouser Posted yesterday at 16:13 Share Posted yesterday at 16:13 I feel like we have two decent options for right footed RW cover in Gordon and Barnes already.
