Only just turned 23 this year too. Has had a really good season. He’s so underrated, really like him. Has the physicality, two-footedness and workrate; looks like the perfect Eddie Howe winger. For how good he is already, and the room to get even better as he is young, it would be a really smart signing. These are the kind of clever value moves we should be seeking out. McCormick
Yep. Prem-proven upside without too much of a mark-up. Probably won’t get too many pulses racing but I can see him fitting in really well for how we like to play.

SUPERTOON
Read in the athletic the other day that Bournemouth only willing to sell two of their main players. Seemingly this will be Kerkez and Huijsen, would take ridiculous money to get anyone else.
Crimson Cardigan
Reading the Huijsen piece this morning in The Athletic he sounds absolutely perfect for us. Fast, really tall, two footed, brave and progressive. Too bad there’s so much competition.

ExiledGeordie
I think a top CB and RW really takes us up a level. A RW who can win matches for us and cause mayhem on that right side would make a huge difference to our play. More speed at the back would be a game changer too. Fair enough, maybe you’ve watched him more. He’s tasked with covering Kirkez when he bombs forward which leaves huge space for him to cover which he does really well from what I’ve seen. ExiledGeordie
It’ll be an interesting summer to see what happens with the Forest and Bournemouth teams transfer wise but mainly Bournemouth as Forest look like they’ll probably get CL.

Yeah, I think he does a good job for the most part, but more through his positioning. But I have seen some instances he got caught getting a bit too tight to a quicker attacker and got left behind when he was turned. He's huge though, at 6 foot 6, so to be expected somewhat. Thumbheed
The thing with Huijsen is he's clearly got his eye on Real Madrid and they've got their eye on him so it will most likely be a profit turner rather than genuine recruitment.
TheInfiniteOdyssey
Suppose it’s their model, but a shame that Bournemouth’s team is going to get picked clean this summer, including their manager. Reminds me of Southampton under Poch.

Nothing wrong with that. If we pay X amount for him and he performs well enough to get Real Madrid interested in signing him then I see no issue with that. Nice thing about CBs and defenders in general is that there's no shortage of options, unlike the centre forward position.

Replacing a world class centre back won't be that easy, and besides, I'd rather not lose a key player 2 years down the line. We might as well go for the player we'd end up replacing him with. We don’t need the approval of clubs that have been voting to keep us in our place. Edited March 30 by Kimbo
