Ramsdale is bad. Thought leaving Arsenal he may have kicked on, but in a bad Southampton side, he’s been an equal part of that. He’s a poor goalkeeper where I’d question any side that identifies him as a number one for the price point.

It’s all reported Maignan is suppose to be signing a new contract, but if Milan are getting jitters he’d be the one I’d want to sign. Just a ready made goalkeeper, no pissing about and he’s here producing for 4 seasons before leaving. Goalkeepers feel like a position where you don’t need to invest in the future, you need them delivering from first day.

Would love Maignan but expect him to have bigger suitors than us.

Trubin's massive and very highly rated, can't say I've seen much of him myself though. I can't see far past Trafford for the keeper signing anyway, which I'm not against

He's the ability just not the consistency said himself he struggles to concentrate for 90 mins. I mean wtf - if that isn't a huge red flag I don't know what is.

I don’t want Moise Kean. Gut feeling is that he might flop. Would like a more technical player/better decision maker. Not seen THAT much of him admittedly so I could be wrong.

He's obviously an improvement on what we have but for the amount of £ he'd cost he's got way too many mistakes in him.

Very much this but I've no idea where he fits in and he's too good to be a backup.

If we get another decent striker I think we'll see more rotation upfront and instances where we use a pair too.

 

The only season both Isak and Wilson were fit together and on form, both played a decent amount and also were paired together at times, and it was great.

 

Would love to see that sort of approach again. Especially as I don't think Isak is the most robust, and can withstand a ton of games with us being back in Europe.

For those that have enjoyed the effectiveness of a more traditional right footed winger down that right side this season in Murphy, we've been linked a number of times with the Brazilian Luis Henrique at Marseille, who's been playing down their right side as a winger/very attacking right wing back. Quite a bit of hype around him this season. Can also play on the left.
