Like I said it’s just ITK stuff, however what’s that old saying, no smoke without fire. One to keep an eye out for.

FWIW, I was told before the last game of the season that Fulham would be the last time he'd be playing for us. Sincerely hope that's wholly incorrect but it was from a good source.

For me, there's only him, Miley and Bruno I'd be bothered about keeping and the fee thats been associated with the Hall rumours is a fucking scandal. He's an elite level prospect.

We'd be absolutely mental to sell, id be massively disappointed with the club if let him go, I don't see a world where the pay what we would need

If he really left us for Man Utd, I think deep down he really think it’s on Howe. I mean I can’t think of other reason for him to leave the club he supports.

Hope the club just tell Man Utd to fuck off

100% agree. I'd be GUTTED to lose him. If Gordon can get that move to Barca, you'd have to think Hall could have better options that Man U in a year or two too.

The source that told me also said 'NUFC have already agreed a deal for his replacement'. As I say, this was pre-Fulham away and I'm hoping it's bad info.

Man Utd are one of the biggest clubs in the world, why wouldnt he be interested? Would probably double his wages for a start?

Well he's just seen Gordon get a top deal for a better club and he's already of the same level despite being younger. Hold on another year and he could well join a team with CL winning aspirations.

I'm also hoping your info is bad, I'm on alert for a new deal for him tbh, it's time we tied him down. If that isn't forthcoming then it's alarm bells for me.

Im all for player trading, our lack of it has probably held us back BUT I see a player of Hall and Mileys profiles as cornerstones for us.

We don’t know what any player wants - we’re not psychic and we’re not privy to private conversations

What we do know is that all of our players are available for the right price, and agents / other clubs will be even more aware of that - anyone claiming that the club can’t be selling their best players isn’t living in the real (PSR) world.  We have and we will do that - there are six clubs in our division whose incomes dwarf ours

There is zero point in worrying about any of it until something changes

Agree. Then it's just a case of getting a value which makes it worthwhile selling and having a replacement who won't weaken the squad.

I'm still not convinced we got top dollar for Gordon, but I guess if we can get Munoz for around £40m and he turns out to be a star, then it's good trading.

Same would apply to Hall.

We definitely left money on the table in the Gordon deal imho but I think it suits everyone to get it done asap and to do it in the 'right' way after last summer.

I cannot fathom us wanting to do a deal for Hall irrespective of the figures involved but we'll soon see what the intentions are.

Absolutely - I’d rather keep Hall of course, and I doubt anyone will meet his asking price this summer.  But I don’t understand the whole ‘we can’t sell X player’ patter - they’re all available if the price is right, this is absolutely the norm at every club in world football.

So last month Newcastle arranged an 8 figure deal to sell Lewis Hall to Man Utd, whole simultaneously agreeing another deal to sign his replacement without anyone involved making theses deals public until Halls mam had too much wine in Croatia and told a fellow holiday goer who she'd never met before?

Have I got that right?

Sounds legit to me

does he support Newcastle? Happy to be proven wrong but I haven’t seen a single quote or pic of him as Newcastle fan. Every time I’ve seen him talk about it it’s always about his dad supporting Newcastle

He 100% does support us. It's been spoken about a number of times where his former Chelsea team mates used to wind him up for always checking for Newcastle scores and talking about us.

He does - it’s also on his profile on the club website.

Here you go:

Doesn’t really much tho does it? Andy Carroll, Gazza, Lee Clark, Beardsley and no doubt many more  all Newcastle fans that left the club. It’s great he’s a boy hood fan but nothing to say he won’t leave if Man Utd want him.
