England have somehow fluked their way to one of the easiest draws you could possibly get [emoji38]

It’s every tournament. Piss easy groups and easy draws for the rest of tournaments.

And we still can’t do anything with it.

He's still ridiculously young I guess.

Do you think it's a maturity thing he will out grow, or is he just genuinely mistake prone?

First part of your question: That's what I hope;

Second part: That's what I fear.

But my fear is starting to increase more and more. He might be young, but he has multiple years playing for Benfica in the League and Europe now.

And you know how consistency is key for a central defender.

Was a huge fan of that late 90's/early noughties Portuguese side

Rui Costa was one of my favourite players, adored him, we were heavily linked with him too but it sadly never happened

Big 90s fan of João pinto those days. We were in praia de luz then and benfica had a training camp near. Couple of the young locals drove us to watch, was a few good players that squad. Remember being furious that caniggia left before that mind

Caniggia? You were there in 1994 or 95.

The beginning of our dark years...

Yeah I was 16 so that would be it, seems to remember a Brazilian striker too and a few that ended up in England in the team. Put myself on record that MM wasn't my fault ha

I must be the only cunt alive who likes Clive Tyldesley. :lol:

I think he’s a decent commentator and certainly adds excitement to the big games, but I don’t expect him to educate me on the Georgian flag.

I used to hate his tone but after listening to the commentators for the last couple of years, Drury, Matterface etc, he's been a breath of fresh air tbh

Maybe it's all been a bit too much too soon with him.
