Ryder is a useful shield for NE football hacks in that he can barely string a legible sentence together, but they’re mostly shite writers.
Drewboy74
Beardsley is the best I've ever seen. Bias and Rose tinted glasses probably, but I don't care. Mitchell
Pilko
Coming into a business of any kind in a senior role and making divisive, aggressive statements about what went on before you arrived is a fucking terrible idea and that's noted in virtually any book you choose to read on leadership. Yes, come in and make an impact and make changes. But telling staff that one of the club's greatest ever players wouldn't make it these days, whilst his fucking son is stood there, is stupidity and arrogance of the highest order. Hopefully no serious football club employs this bald bellend ever again. An awful appointment and despite the questionable summer window I'm glad Eddie stood up to him enough so that we slung the cunt out.

Keegans Export
He was close to Eales wasn't he? Reeks of him knowing the boss has got his back if he pissed anyone off, I've known people just like that. The Prophet
At Southampton, Mitchell had a reputation for being incredibly arrogant, but also very good at his job. I guess some managers will tolerate it, others won't.

I don't come in and take my cock out day one. I don't shit on club and regional legends.
Abacus
I'm glad he's gone if those reports are true. He did the square root of nothing except for annoying people when we needed to stick together to beat the odds. I quite like being the overperforming underdogs who are at least working as a team. Kelly is doing really well this season. Not that we didn't get good money for him mind.
GEFAFWISP
Just now, The Prophet said: Kelly is doing really well this season. Not that we didn't get good money for him mind. I'm sure Howe could've made him function eventually but for us he was atrocious, good business.

He just never got a decent run in the team. Chances are with Hall, Burn and Botman he never would have, we're a bit stacked in that area of the pitch for someone who's looking for regular minutes. It might have been a bit different if he was a youngster who was just coming onto the scene. Good move for all parties. His positional play when marking players dribbling towards him was grade A turbo shit, let them take easy shots. Howe would've sorted it but he was tripe for us.
