Honestly what the hell are we doing

Played really well for the first 15 minutes, then they scored and PTSD set in. Small margins, another day it's us 2-0 up.

Howe got the first lot of changes wrong where he pushed Joelinton back onto the right and went to the two in midfield with a fading Gordon partnering Isak. As good as Barnes is as a countering attacking player he hardly commits people or takes people on when we're in possession. Meant we were outnumbered in the centre of the park and couldn't get a grip of things to enable us to push on. Then if you're bringing on Jacob Murphy at 0-2 you're totally out of ideas and fucked basically.

The most annoying thing about tonight has been the complete lack of appetite and desire in the second half. We've never looked for one minute like we've wanted the result as much as West Ham.

Absolutely pointless putting on performances like Arsenal if you're going to follow it up in your next home game with this.

I think it hurts even more because I expect we were all really excited for this after the (yes, repeating myself) fucking pointless international break. To be met with the same issues pre Chelsea LC fixture is a bit concerning, to say the least. Fucking hell this sport, man.

What are you lot expecting from Kelly?

He's our fifth choice centre half after Schar, Botman, Lascelles and Krafth.

He's been far from our worst performer tonight.

Always need a whipping boy.

Will be the same people that have been complaining about Burn all season too.

Kelly has been shit. But how are we pinning this all on Burn being missing? It’s been the usual shit in the final third. No quality and wasteful when it matters. Bruno, Gordon and Isak (albeit with not great service) have all been miles below their levels.

Joelinton goes off and from the minute we went to 4-4-2 it’s been a mess. They should have scored more this half.

Yet another game where we look good for 45-60 mins say. Then completely run out of steam.

Aye Howe's changes killed us tbh. Paqueta completely took over the game after.

Isak’s been so bad tonight.

He looked really frustrated after that incorrect VAR check and missing a penalty in his game for Sweden, I feel the frustration probably came again after the offside goal at the start.
