That was his brother I think?

Ah right. I remember one of them wrongly sending Coloccini off at the SoL and one of them having to take a break from refereeing for a while after some controversy over allegedly getting too close to a dog but can't remember which was which.

Don’t see how this game can cause any worry really. Expected defeat, just want to see a bit of fight and a decent performance.

I'm actually not dreading this fixture as much as usual. They are playing great, we have played shite in our last two games, so expectations are not that high. It's a perfect scenario for an upset, especially in front of a home crowd that will be jumping.

A lot depends on a proper striker starting though. If it's Gordon up front, we're shagged.

You'd hope that would be the case but you never know these days. If we can't get up for a game v Liverpool there is a problem mind.

I'm probably projecting my own irrational dislike of Liverpool onto the rest of the support base tbf. For the average fan it's probably just another game.

Aye, it was Bobby that sent Coloccini off and had the dog ‘issue’.

I'm off work for the next two days so one would think my mood going into this evening would be extremely content.

Enter this fixture to ruin it all.

Having said that, there's no way we win this game. A point against these would be a victory of sorts given Howe's record against them.

Anything can happen in a game of football. Fuck the odds. We #CANS win this! :indi:

Funny enough the last time we beat these in 15/16, they played Southampton away in the cup live on TV a few days before, won 6-1 and looked absolutely mustard.

We were shite, and the run up to the game was exactly like this, ‘got no chance’, ‘gonna get battered’. We won 2-0.

Also the preceding game for us was a tragic performance at Palace in the final days of November, before the Liverpool game in the early December, looking good under a new manager.

We were playing shite in the run up to Man City and Arsenal and we pulled results out of the bag. It would he very 'us' right now if we got something out of this. As someone on Talksport said the other day - we're more Spursy than Spurs at the moment
