Would be incredible if we get 3 points from this, but find it impossible to call. Either one of us could be on the end of a battering today.

Villa may win but we certainly won’t be battered with that midfield

This is the game where people remember we have Dubravka in goal.

Thinking this a little bit myself. Villa is something different than Ipswich and Leicester.

Big test to see if the last few games have been down to poor opposition, or we really have a turned a corner.

Yep, think that's probably fair. Villa are a really good side - particularly fearful of Rogers and Duran but it's hard not to be confident given how our midfield has improved. A good performance and a point from this means we can still go to Old Trafford confident enough to rattle those shit bastards.

Not being pessimistic, but our last wins have been against pretty terrible opposition, although that's certainly helped get our confidence back and the midfield is really looking good and strong, Isak scoring run too. Villa are a quality side and it's going to be tough game and a real test of just how far we've progressed. A win would be massive.

isn’t is levelled at us that we perform much better against good sides, especially at home

Potentially a season defining game today. If we win it’s a bit of a statement. A loss follows the patterns of win/lose midtable obscurity.

it’s one of those games where you can see any result happening.

*I get the last statement is a bit Michael Owen .

The argument before was we only turn up against the big teams, now we give the bottom clubs a slap too and people are still pessimistic 😀

At home, and against a team that "means" something we are orimed to win or at least draw. Hopefully the crowd is up for it aswell, remember seasons past!!! Have a chip on my shoulder with this lot!
