BDB can play for a top club in the PL, but would struggle anywhere on the continent?  Not sure like.

He can play in a very limited role. If you look him, he only passes the ball with his left, and 95% of his passes are to Hall. He can defend, but is horrible under pressure. It really affects the play when opposition lets us have the ball.

Teams will typically pressure Schar/Botman as they can pass and sit off Burn due to his passing ability (or lack of)

We’ve just sold Lloyd Kelly to Juventus - where he starts.  BDB looked twice the player.

And we'll done for bringing that up. If I wasn't so strong minded I'd kick off but I won't. I don't want people banned for the things they say.

You’re welcome, you’ve been egging it on for a while… Speak freely, it’s a forum . Or don’t want to be your true self?

What's really shit is that City had a slight wobble and could spend hundreds of millions in one window and start to correct course.

We've been playing by these farcical rules and haven't been able to strengthen in numerous windows. FFP can't excuse poor footballing displays, but it's the reason why we're still miles behind the likes of City when in reality, there's nothing holding us back from spending wisely.

We can't even take slightly risky punts on potential reinforcements for the fear of getting raked across the coals. Fucking depressing

Absolutely spot on.

So just to be absolutely clear, anyone who isn't perfect has limitations right?

Howe has done an almost impeccable job since being here. Must have loads of them limitations.

I’m not disputing that he hasn’t. But so far in every make or break game, we have broke.

The way the table is shaping up is starting to look pretty bleak ...

Really not sure we make any kind of European competition, never mind the Champions League.

There easily could (and probably will) be another winning run that keeps us in it. Problem is it all hinges on Isak. If he's injured forget it. We're mid table side without him. Even with Isak on pitch we have to get him the ball to him in front of goal - but problem here is our depth is woeful and some of our main starters for last few years are punching well above their level. We knew it top 4 season, we saw it last season and we seen it this season.

On our day we can beat anyone - but consistency season to season needs squad depth in quality, partly to keep status quo on their toes but you have to have a plan B either in tactics or personell.

Last game against Arsenal aside, we're incredibly predictable in all areas of line up and how we will play. This season teams have shown they can adapt to it so we end up very streaky then inconsistent.
