Dr.Spaceman
Had a purple patch when he first got here, then was a bit meh, then got injured then came back and was good, got injured again and now can't trap a bag of cement. Or something like that. I guess he "just needs a run of games" or some bollocks. Edited 20 hours ago by Dr.Spaceman
BergenMagpie
He reminds me so much of Wijnaldum. Class on his day, but there are so many games he's completely invisible. One of the players I always wanted to succeed here, but I'd cash in on him now. Should be a C, but I'd give him a D- now due to availability

Krafth was out with the same injury, and he's 30 aswell. He came back and did well. I just think that E is pretty harsh, like he's not that bad, and he probably still has 2-3 more years in him. Yeah, I see what you mean. In my head he was older than 31 because he has been around so long. Probably should be a D
Sibierski
Another C / C- player. Probably will be down in championship by the time he’s 30 though because of injuries.
Displayname
The fact that Trippier got a C and Murphy got a D says a lot. Ridiculous.
The Butcher
Really like Willock, but he if we can get a decent fee for him I think it's time we part ways.
Holloway
C, has looked a B at times but uas slipped to a D of late. Would sell for 20 mill
Vedder
D. I used to think he was a good option coming off the bench but he’s offered so little this season.
St1pe
C - potential to be a B again. Never gonna be an Isak, Bruno, Tonali, Botman but has the tools to be a first team player if he can stay fit. If we get into Europe he could be really useful to keep hold of.
La Parka
D. But I think he'd do better: Given a run of games Given time playing with joelinton Given time to play with hall He's categorically not a central midfielder in my opinion. A wide playmaker or a 10 who doesn't fit or is outclassed by the rest of the squad. He's a bit of a luxury in our formation and doesn't work as hard defensively as we need him too. When he's on form, confident and fit he's a weapon on the left - a different dynamic to the other wingers. Not fit enough recently either sadly. I really do like him but he's not at a C. Kaizero
Having reviewed his stats as a player for us in combination with my personal opinion and thoughts on him as a player, I've landed on D- to E+ Chose to go "E" as whilst I do believe he could work as squad filler for teams in a PL relegation fight, in my subjective and personal opinion, he just feels like a player that failed to reach PL level – but could still do a decent job in the Champo for one of the teams down there. The latter of those scenarios struck me as the one that felt "most natural" for me, as such; E.

TheBrownBottle
Willock is a C/D, but I’ve just about went D as it isn’t clear if the lad is going to recover to previous levels. There’s talent there, but my worry would be that he’s just too injury prone.

Willock might have outscored Murphy in the Bruce season, but beyond that the stats tell a different story. And yes, I'm aware a lot of people aren't fond of how analytics has become a part of the game. I even agree to a certain extent as xG and xA when used alone doesn't actually mean anything regarding either a team or player's skill/performance, as a player getting hit in their arse with the ball without even knowing and either scoring or assisting a goal will have effect on xG and xA without taking context into the equation. However, "x" analytics go much, much, deeper than just xG and xA – xGChain90 and xGBuildUp90, especially the latter as it doesn't take shots or goals into account – just the quality of chance creation stemming from the choice(s) ab individual player make when possessing the ball. In every other metric than goals scored, Murphy outperformed Willock. In certain areas, by a lot – such as a Murphy involvement in build-up being 45.2% more likely to lead to a shot on target (by another player) than a Willock involvement.
