Just realised this evening that exactly a year ago I had cancer, checked for it on 27th, diagnosed in April. Manageable so no worries (but don't be afraid to bother your doctors about ailments, left it months) and that I lost me mam to it as a kid a few days before we won promotion/title at Grimsby - just cant make it straight forward with this club.

 

Wasn't going to mention anything but after reading about folk that have lost people recently that missed out on this because we got a card a few days later that referred to getting promoted/the title that read "(mam's name) will be laughing her socks off" - don't know what my faith is like or what I believe in but I could easily imagine that was the case and hope that's the same for all you guys

You have my total love and sympathy, sadly my dad died at Chrismas and never saw us win a trophy, I hope he's looking down and enjoying this day.
