Newcastle United 4-1 Manchester United - 13/04/2025

Only part it felt actually quiet for me was after their equaliser, knocked the stuffing out of us a bit.

Plenty of chants going round the corner as per but felt whole hearted each time.

All perception anyway, me fatha said it didn't come across well in the club.

Think there's about three players from their entire squad I'd take here.

They've recruited so badly it's beyond belief.

I’m not saying I’d want them here but I rate Yoro, Dalot, Garnacho, Mazraoui, Zirkzee and obviously Fernandez to certain extents. Shaw if he was ever fit.

They just don’t have the right balance of ingredients and the right culture to make a winning team and the have a very non-competitive midfield.

Most of us are fed up with Dalot and want him to be a squad player at best. He left Mazraoui super exposed today. Beaten so easily far too many times.

Admittedly I don’t watch many full 90s but he just always seems to try really hard and make some good movements. Maybe he attacks too much like you say.

I'm sure you had eyes the last time I saw you.

Yeah his attitude and work rate is top class. It's the reason he plays every minute, but the quality is lacking. It won't be long before we sign some competition for him though.

He was key to your goal and most of your good attacks in the first half but how Tino glided past him for Barnes' first was very poor defensively.

Baffled how anyone can rate Zirkzee, he’s one of those players that you look at and just wonder what position is he meant to play, he’s so easy to bully. Yoro has not shown anything to suggest he deserved an absurd price tag. I think Mazraoui is good. Garnacho is an odd player, he has some really good attributes but I don’t think he’s ever going to put it all together

I feel sorry for Mount that his career has been disrupted by injuries but I still think it was horrific business to buy him in the first place and I don’t think he’ll ever produce consistent quality even if he remains fit because he’s nowhere near complete enough as a player
