Newcastle United 4-1 Manchester United - 13/04/2025

Zirkzee just reminds me of the fat lad in PE who always got picked 7th when the captains were picking teams. Not shite but he's a moody fucker who lets his head drop, won't defend and runs out of gas 20 minutes before the bell

I thought Zirkzee looked good before his injury today, although he been terrible every othrr time I've seen him.

Aye he did, and he did when he replaced Hojlund in Europe IIRC. I agree with what everyone has said about his weaknesses though.

Honestly Isak’s body language just begging for the bal on 3rd and 4th have / had me in stitches. Looks like he was telling Bruno about it after the goal, and at full time on the walk

I feel like there is a touch of the Joelintons about Zirkzee, in the sense that they where both bought with the intention of being the main striker, but their play style and career previous never hinted they where a number 9, but the media and fans judged them both to that standard.

There is definitely a player in Zirkzee in my opinion, he just needs to get that Man United juice off him.

He’d do well in the Dutch league, maybe Portugal.

Great week. 6 points with minimum effort. Didn’t really have to get out of 1st gear to easily dispatch two of the desperately poor bottom feeding teams.

Second half today was the easiest 45 minutes we’ve had all season. Didn’t have to break sweat to put them away.

Seen Bromley and Wimbledon come up here and be more professional and organised than that Manchester United side.

But it’s not all bad, at least the Durham Reds got to sing about Shearer for a bit and were home for 7pm. Big day out.

I was yelling for Harvey to dish it left to Isak and the brave bastard split the defence and banged it home. Brilliant stuff, that.
