Our game 90% post match talk about Manchester Reds, Ipswich game 95% talk about Chelsea, Wolves game 100% of the after game talk is about Spurs, not one mention of how good Wolves were. Sickening bias for flailing, has-been teams. Well we cant complain when we have a dedicated thread for the gloryhunters

I kinda get it for Man U because they are such a big club but it is frustrating. Im so keen for us to press home our advantage as a club. Most pundits didn’t have us qualifying for Europe at all. We still aren’t being taken seriously. If we can push in the transfer market and get further quality in we can start thinking about 73-85 point seasons rather than 60-72 point seasons. The media haven’t shifted to reckoning with us. With CL, a bit of luck and our ambition that could change over the next 18 months. It's literally taken 30+ games and being able to go 3rd if we win a game in hand for us to be considered to have a good chance of getting Champions League. Baffling. Even in the periods where we had a few dips in form we've never really been any more than 5-6 points behind. Mazzy
Man Utd fans on Twitter losing their heads about Henry digging into Yoro for his actions after Barnes second goal. Henry went a little bit far with it but he wasn't wrong. Barnes ran towards him with the ball and the past him with the ball and Yoro looks immediately at the lino when the goal is scored. Every defender does this. Bit strange from Henry to go all in on the 19 year old. Lindelof was way worse.
David Edgar
Does anyone else get the same level of retrospective protection that a Manchester United youth gets?

I think what made it more obvious though is Yoro does look towards the lino and none of the other Man Utd defenders did.

Thing is, we have to put up with this shit about other teams from Neville and Carra in the same vein.

Hopefully we finish in the CL spot (higher the better) and then kick on with a class summer that equates into what you're saying Dropout, mate. Firstly, I was on this thread whining about the atmosphere having been at our last few games against the Mancs and the atmosphere being great each time. Then hearing from those who attended and watching the highlights with the radio newcastle commentary, it’s clear there’s a concerted effort to mute the stadium noise by Sky. Why is this? Exactly the same with the cup final and I can only assume most other games. I need to stop judging the crowd based on the telly coverage as its bollocks. Ashamed it’s taken me this long to fully twig. Secondly, xG is such a load of nonsense. Never been a fan, but just looking at yesterday and seeing us having below 2 and just above 2 with those posted on here - how can that be? Surely Barnes first goal was as close to 1 as you can get? Bruno must have been 0.6/0.7 at least and while Barnes second was a great finish, it belies the fact that more often than not you expect the ball to go in from there when he’s clean through on goal. Add in the Isak chance saved from six yards, Tonali’s goal and a few long range close calls (Murphy, Tonali) and any that I’ve forgotten, the idea we should have expected 2 goals in that game is a nonsense. I’m going to reiterate my xG point and perhaps remove my argument that it indicates game direction.
olliemort Posted Thursday at 10:47 Share Posted Thursday at 10:47 Could anyone help me to get a couple of programmes for this one, I was rushing to make the match and the only one I saw they only accepted cash. There for three young lads I coach on our football team. Obviously I will reimburse including postage and enough for a point or two 👍 I contacted the club but none left! They normally stock a few but no idea how quickly they sell out. Not sure if the one in the Metrocentre also stocks them.
