Only Spurs beats that for a first half performance since Howe came in.  Amazing.

Old Trafford was us tea bagging them the first half too. This is up there with Spurs for doing it on our home patch.

Fucking great half ! Love this team.

But if VAR deem that a penalty there will be a carnage of penalties going forward. Keepers always get away with murder, now they have set a precedent. Fuck that and god bless karma.

Your heart will have sunk seeing this if you're one of the other contenders.  The sheer momentum and form is stampeding enough.

The penalty was shocking mind. No way was that clear and obvious to make the ref look at it.

If the ref gave it first, I'd even accept it but it's nuts that they feel it was 'clear and obvious' to overturn the original decision.

Murphy was tremendous in that first half. Absolutely top class. Could have had 5 assists

That cross for the fourth, man

The intensity is well and truly back, just brutal. Jacob Murphy man from where he was being loaned out to some of the displays now. Might be limited but his assists and pace are unreal

From the first 5 minutes of that half, you could tell the players knew this was a big and important game, and when the players think its a big game, we're switched the fuck on. Add a bit of Palace not having high quality players, and being on the beach for their semi-final, and you get that sexual half of football.

Genuinely elite performance.

Well that'll do. What a half of attacking potency.

Am I wrong for thinking it's safe to sub off Joelinton now and protect against that yellow?

Isak must be absolutely bursting for a goal [emoji38]

It's a bit like Postahoglu's, correct, point. Doesn't matter if the right decision is the ultimate outcome. If it takes an eternity it's NOT "clear and obvious"
