La Parka
He needs to go play where he can stroll around like Italy or Germany Prem players have to be physical specimens. Edited January 31 by La Parka

Zero
I hold a different opinion. If we are playing so fucking shit currently with Wissa or with Gordon, we might as well back to our early season formation and start Nick

If we are playing so fucking shit currently with Wissa or with Gordon, we might as well back to our early season formation and start Nick The guy is lightweight, pedestrian and lacks any sort of instinct or desire to score goals. Once the initial adrenaline wore off he's just not very good. He's a luxury 5 aside player, who cost us too much money - I'd rather flog both of them in the summer and bring in someone who wakes up wanting to score goals, not do back flicks and play on their heels. It's clear as day he's not up to it and especially in our system, whatever that currently is.
Zero
This is fucking ridiculous take. You do know he is our second highest scorer this season even when he’s dropped to the bench since Wissa is back? Not up to it? Not willing to score goals?
Sandrotastico
Just my opinion from watching a lot of average strikers since Frank Pingel - and a few decent ones also. It's a pretty accurate take I'd say. Good footballer just not a guy to get you many goals. Luxury player and not at all an athlete.

Decky
Has he only 1 goal in his last 19 or 20 now? What the hell has happened? It started so well.

Been used terribly as a result of one dimensional coaching, eventually his optimism has faded resulting in less output.
Mountain
However IF they really wanted him as an aggressive target man, why isn't he on a bulk up routine? Just poor management tbh.
duo
Before everyone writes this lad off - to date he's got 7 goals 3 assists in PL , Ekitike 10 goals 2 assists (2 of those goals tonight). So the lads done ok. Edited February 1 by duo

It's really simple stuff.

AngelofTheFourth
Sadly we need to sell him asap if he doesnt fit. but we won't because we ain't that type of club for some reason.
AyeDubbleYoo
I think he was unlucky to be dropped when Wissa came back TBH, it was purely due to Wissa's PL experience and he hasn't done anytime better than Nick would do. The narrative around Woltemade is now worse for no real reason.

Can’t help thinking that we’d have been better off taking the money used on Woltemade to secure a transfer agreement for Ekitike, then taking Wissa’s TF & salary and offering them to Ekitike. I’m confident if we’d offered Ekitike £10m a year more than Liverpool he’d have considered signing

Scoot
Nick was brought in to be our second/backup striker, Wissa was signed as our starting striker. But Wissa got injured literally straight away, before he had even kicked a ball for us which meant Woltemade was chucked in at the deep end. Straight into a new league at 23 years old due to our first choice striker being injured. Eddie would have introduced him slowly had Wissa not been injured but didn’t have that option. Nick has got a lot to learn without a doubt, but has done alright since signing for us. 9 goals in all comps. Give the lad time. Isak scored 10 in his first season here.
