I'd love to see him bulk up over the summer. For someone as big as he is, he loses far too many physical duels with defenders when receiving the ball.

A little incremental change like that could make a whole lot of difference to our team.

& it's not like it'll affect his mobility much

I think it is interesting how Eddie referred to him in his press conference this morning, that they told him to come deeper, he likes the ball in to feet, running in behind isn't his game, he's technical, etc... so wonder if that will show where he plays him going forward.

According to 'Football Insider' the club are looking to sell him in the summer.

I would not be happy with that outcome.

I saw something similar (may have been same article), and think it also mentioned Bayern Munich.

If they didn't want to go to what we paid for him last summer, I cant imagine they even give us the same amount back to sell, so to them it should be a non-starter.

I'd still like him to have more opportunities and a run in the side again, whether thats as the '#9' again like start of the season, or if we can utilise him and get something out of him in a deeper role. But as it is, starting him every other match, and using him as sub other times just isn't helping him. I think he needs another settled run in the side, in some sort of position, and see if it can help build his confidence back up.

Me neither, if Eddie wants to evolve the style with more time on the training pitch over the summer I still think Woltemade could prove to be an exciting prospect for a new look side next year (expecting at least one of Tonali/Tino to leave)

The good news is that football insider know the square root of fuck all :)

Lots of comments over the last few weeks about Nick not being a fit for us and indeed not being a fit for anyone in the division, crikey. When people say that we would have to completely alter our style to accommodate him, what do they mean? Buy a load of technical types so we can have him as a 10 or withdrawn striker or false 9 or what? People getting bogged down in terminology of positions, it would take a tweak here or there in midfield and maybe one of the wide positions. He's not getting sold, Eddie will sort it

You're always going to get people saying he can't jump, is slow, can't shoot or doesn't shoot so he isn't a fit for us, I say just ignore them because with a skilset like that he fits right in (joke).

It's the whole new team we have to get to fit him in that I find amusing

Football Insider is about as useful as Anne Frank’s drum kit thankfully.

I've heard that from a few people as well, one is normally very reliable.

Who that is reliable? It makes no sense to sell him while his stock is low.

Football Insider should be shot into the sun.

Still think he has a lot to prove - Really like him on the ball and other than a lack of pace he has the raw attributes to succeed.

My biggest issue is a lack of desire and fight to take the game by the scruff of the neck, kick a defender back, hold off a challenge and yes...win a fucking header.

Toughen up and show a little more bravery and he could be a real player, if EH can figure how where the hell he plays.

As it stands, he's too lightweight, soft and rarely in the game - that's not everyone's fault but his own.

If you can break even I'd reinvest 5% of the money in Danny Welbeck of DCL and you'll probably see more presence.
