Vaj Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 Much improved from the goal onwards. A really good move followed by a tidy finish. I think Osula has played pretty well and given us a focal point. Smal Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 I don't know why people had a problem with the first 30 minutes or so. Away from home in the prem you just have to try and control the game, which we did albeit without looking particularly threatening. Palace had a 10 minute spell after that where they had a chance but other than that they've had nowt. I'd honestly urge people to watch more prem football to see what games are like now. Armchair Pundit Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 Been a slow, steady half. Boring, maybe, but relatively solid considering what appears to be a lack of confidence being worked on. If we get through the first ten minutes of the second half without too much bother I think we'll push a bit more, using some more attacking subs. There's obvious pressure on the team and Eddie, especially with all the constant nonsense about getting rid of the manager, which doesn't help anyone, the lads need to convince themselves they're capable and trust the process to get a reasonable finish to the season. Whinge-arsing and knocking every little iffy decision, slip or miss isn't going to encourage improvement, if anything it'll just beat any spark of a revival out of what we have.
