That’s the perfect ref decision and such an example of this World Cup. Ivory Coast guy does a step-over, slightly heavy touch then decides to step back into the player behind him and fall forward. 9/10 that gets given in the Premier League. Ref here says non.

Dunno, where is he supposed to put his arms when he's jumping to meet a cross? You can't breathe on a GK these days

You can put your arms there but if they impede the keeper - and they did - it’s a foul.

Don't think he impeded anything, just think the GK was crap on the cross and got bailed out (as they always do).

He clearly gets a bump by the German just as he's about to catch the ball

Agree to disagree, it's virtually impossible to jump with a GK who has the advantage in raising his arms to catch the ball and make no contact at all but it's becoming a pointless argument, GKs get protected above all else. Don't think anyone wants to go back to the days of John Charles putting the keeper in the net with the ball but there's a middle ground.

Edit - golazo
