Would be quite fun for Germany to lose, would put the wind up the smug buggers

The rule is clear, only Germany and Argentina are forbidden to win the world cup. For the rest I wish all the luck if they're not playing Brazil

Even Portugal?

At least the Messi CR7 debate would be alive again. Also, Portugal is so tiny in international football that I don't think many people would care.

Argentina since I'm brazilian is kinda obvius, germany already have four world cups, if they win we lose the bragging rights from being the only country who's won it 5 times.

But if Brazil don't win I would like to the Netherlands to win, they're deserving a World Cup since 1974

Some podcast I listened to cited Pierluigi Collina’s position with the refs in this World Cup as one reason why they’ve been letting things flow more. It does make a lot of sense.

We haven't had one since 1966... 😄

Does feel like Germany are missing that one out-and-out star. Wirtz has shown flashes over the two games, as has Sane, but someone needs to take this game by the scruff of the neck.

Musiala is probably their match winner who can do something from nothing but he’s obviously barely played this last year. Not sure he’s a boss the game man though.

As expected this has been a good watch.
