Nicky
Just saw that. Good news. We can do with whatever players we've got at the moment.

toontownman
Thought he was finished. Good news, although I doubt he will ever get close to the first team again. So much for Bramble and Luque getting a run out!
Skirge
It is great news and after that rumour he would never play angain and was going to be released, amazing how much shite gets thrown around. But wew= cannot get to carried away thinking we have a fit LB, he has never played for a long time and for a few the next months at least he is ging to have to find form and fitness, we still need to buy a new LB. NUFC06
So are we going to release him or not? His contract is until the summer right?

The French full-back, who re-signed for the Magpies in September, has not featured for Glenn Roeder's first-team after being dogged by a series of injuries, the latest a hip problem which has kept him sidelined since November. Reserve team coach Lee Clark will hand second-string debuts to Academy players Ryan Donaldson, Alex Francis and Darren Lough. Donaldson (15) will take his place up-front alongside Andy Carroll after Carl Finnigan, an ever-present for the Reserves this season, signed for Falkirk on Tuesday. United are currently 5th in the Reserve League North, but have three games in hand on leaders Middlesbrough who are eight points ahead. The Magpies face a Wigan side who have yet to win a game this season and have just two points to show from eight outings. Guest teepee
good bit of news - we need anyone right now. i'd also love to see the bernard of old - but i doubt we ever will again.... our best left back since quite a while now...
Skirge
If he ever got back to how he used to be then that is fantastic for us but I think he is a long long way off being that player again, fkn hell at one time he was never evee injured, Mr Unbreakable he was but now he is so far from the player he used to be. toontownman
Seems more like they are testing the water with his hip, I wouldnt be getting too excited. Regardless he wont be back before Babayaro whos should be back for Fulham.
Rich
Which isn't bad news, IMO. Babayaro is a shirker, no doubt, but he has a lot of ability on the ball and should offer us a lot more in home games (everyone has seen the difference having a fullback with a bit of passing ability/technique can bring to the team now that Nobby's been in.) Shame we'll be back to Carr/Babayaro against Villa, as I'd obviously prefer Nobby in there, but it's fucking miles better than having Huntington/Edgar/Ramage at fullback. BottledDog
More to the point, I thought everyone was banging on about tightarse demanding to play in this game?
Rich
Roeder added: "Luque was never going to go with the Reserves because we felt it would be in appropriate in the last week of the transfer window. "Now that we have Titus Bramble back with us we cannot afford to take any chances with him. "He is medically fit, but he needs to get match fit. "So what we will do on Saturday morning is to play a full 11-against-11 game with our Academy side and give Titus 60 or 70 minutes." From today's Chronicle Damn that Lee Clark! ElDiablo
If physioroom is to be believed by Liverpool at home, our team could look like this... Given Nobby Taylor Ramage/New signing (fingers crossed) Huntington/Baba/see above Milner Dyer Butt N'Zogbia/Duff Sib Martins Bench: Duff/N'Zogbia, Parker, Bramble, Emre, Harper. The bench is the main good point, a few options available at last. Mind you, it is a big IF that physioroom is correct. And that's providing we get no other injuries in the mean time... Skirge
Problem is by the time the Liverpool game gets here we could be 2 players back fit but 5 more players out injured.
