They've drawn attention to the risk now, so shouldn't really be doing a half arsed job. They could do with closing it off sooner, I was in shark looking out yesterday and they had no chance when they turned up. They seemed to be trying to close off one side of the street when the other was still open, and cars were still coming along.

Anyone know what Block V is like regarding standing? Looking to get a ticket for the Stoke game and I can either get a ticket in the middle of Block V in the Gallowgate, or one at the back of The Corner- but I want to stand. Had a ST in the Corner so know what that's like, but people on Twitter saying Block V were generating some good noise!

Oh yeah, I forgot you're a health and safety hazard if you stand in front of a plastic seat.

Anyway, if someone intelligent could answer my question that would be great!

Around about halfway in block V to the back of the Gallowgate the lads there are all standing up, if you can get a ticket about half way or further back then you should be alright in regards to standing.

Decent atmosphere yesterday, there was a period in the second half where the Gallowgate were chanting the 'Toon, United Toon' thing which went on for like 5 minutes straight.

Atmosphere was up a notch on Saturday I thought

The introduction of Block V will be huge for the atmosphere. It means both sides of the Gallowgate have vocal sections and it pushes those in between to get involved. Once the Gallowgate gets going the other stands sometimes join in, but nonetheless that one stand can make plenty noise.

That, combined with the fact no-one expects to win anymore and the Benitez scenario is all helping too. Should be like that every game if not louder like from here on.

Like the look of the new higher advertising boards and the moving of the clocks.

I thought the clocks were originally put in corners so everyone in ground could see one?

I looked a few times and was wondering how long we actually had left. New hoardings were areet if not a bit pointless?

The clocks in the corners have been shifted to next to the dugouts, and new advertising hoardings have been put in, all electronic now, which now have stuff on the back of them.

Noticed that on TV. Had some facts on them

Are the clocks only next to the dugouts? So in the Milburn you can't see one?

Anybody know why they had names on the advertising boards? It was on about memberships and renewing, then had "Kevin Watson" all the way along just before kick off.

That's me  :frantic:

I saw that, it was for member of the match. Im sure you win something.
