I attended an "Open Day" whereupon the Newcastle board showed animated pictures of how the stadium would look. It was all rather magnificent if I remember correctly. I was all for it at the time. Guest godzilla Posted December 19, 2019 Share Posted December 19, 2019 In retrospect, it would have been a good thing if we had built on the town moor, maybe everything would have been different, increased revenue, increased capacity. increased options etc. The possible wait of roughly 5 year killed it off, as John Hall was wanting the capacity increased straight away. The fans are regularly lied to, fed a load of PR bullshit and have to watch that total garbage. A season ticket holder friend (cough) of mine says if we play the same and get the Chelsea result everytime then he is happy with that. Sure he fucked over the Durham Wasps with the Ice Hockey team, but to have that ambition and gall to try and create. Eagles are the real success story out of it all, although not really due to SJH.
