Even if it has been done for odd Europa game previously, in those circumstances those in the Milburn Paddock area usually invited guests of the visiting club not rowdy away fans. When the stadium was redeveloped in 1999 they put away fans in that corner whilst charging people in the Platinum Club right next to them £71. The way atmospheres should be improved is by introducing singing sections with flags and displays and driving down the pricing of tickets as they're ultimately irrelevant these days in terms of finances anyways. Have ssfw standing sections and increase a stands capacity by 50%+ and they'll cover their losses. The people who "manufacture" this product want more sales and therefore Sky and television companies are the issue as they bear the most influence on the funding of this product. Away fans generate more atmosphere and that makes the game more appealing which is a fact. However, it's simplistic and naive to make the move that they are. Home fans have been disrupted and dissected for years because of increased pricing, policing and regulations which are simply too old for the modern game.
