He'll know he won't be first choice, he gets to go home, Barcelona get a proven La Liga player who if he gets back to his best will be a bargain for them, and he'll be decent cover for them. If both deals come off in addition to the already signed Viduka, Barton, and Rozenhal then this will be on one of the best transfer windows in recent memory. Plus there's the possibility of Geremi.
