Dr Spectrum
Doncaster 1-3 City Orgryte 1-4 City Carlstad 0-4 City Still have to play Charleroi, Shrewsbury and Valencia. Bernardo Corradi has scored in every game so far. Sven blatantly a miracle worker. Rolando Bianchi has scored a few as well and looks a really good player. Gelson Fernandes only played a little bit, Sven says he's better than he thought - but the cynic in me says thats just because he has realised how absolutely god awful Hamann and Dabo are. No sign of Geovanni, he signed after the team left for Sweden and he didn't fly out, he'll probably appear at Charleroi next saturday. 18 year old full back Shaleum Logan getting plenty of time on the pitch, clearly impressed Sven, looks like he's going to be next off the production line. At the moment it looks like he's going to start the season in the team with Michael Ball suspended.

Menace
He didn't say that. Sounds good Spectrum, I'll probably get eaten by saying this but I'd much rather Sven then Allardyce.

Ashley17
Blackpool 1 - 2 Wigan. Bramble played for Wigan. From the match report at the Wigan website: But the hosts did equalise on 51 minutes when a defensive mix-up led to Ben Burgess netting an equaliser. It was the first goal Latics had conceded during the summer. I wonder who was to blame...

PM
Blackpool site... The second half started brighter for the tangerines with the side's persistence finally paying off. A chase for the ball from a Titus Bramble back pass saw Ben Burgess look to beat the keeper and although he just didn't manage to reach it, the clearance save hit Andreas Granqvist, falling straight back into the path of Burgess for an easy tap in (49). brummie
Toronto FC 2 - Villa 4 : Luke Moore(3), Carew Bright spots = very, very sharp going forward, Luke Moore on fire, NRC and Ashley Young both setting up goals. Downers = defence fucking awful, Sorensen going off injured and Taylor coming on and looking shite. A right back and a keeper, please Santa.

'NEGATIVES- even blackpool made bramble look dodgy and his mistake for their goal showed exactly why hes been considered a donkey for the past few years.' I'm glad we can finally laugh at Bramble in the same way the rest of the country has for years. I defended him so many times but in the end it was just once too much to bear. You just never knew which Bramble would turn up, it wouldn't be as funny if he messed up all the time, it's the way he just 'does a Bramble' now and again. I do think he's definitely better than Ramage but I think he's become too synonymous with our poor defences over the years and it was best for both parties that he move on. For once I look forward to seeing his moments.
