Not so fat anymore it seems, and IMO had a decent game today.

Seemed to be storming down the flank a bit.

If he can keep up a decent level like today then at least it means RB is fairly covered, with him, Nobby and Geremi. Makes it less urgent for a RB than it was say, a month ago.

Fingers crossed he can keep improving fitness wise.

Wasn't tested much, as they knew they had the beating of Huntington.

This.

They just hoofed it up to Iaquinta at every opportunity as he had made Huntington his bitch. Lacked pace and any form of aerial thread, and for a supposed centre back - this is not a good thing!

The only went down our left because they knew they had no chance of getting past Carr ;)

Seriously though, he more than matched their left flank today, fair play to him.

Huntington was beaten far too easily everytime for my liking, but as for Carr i have to actually agree for once, even though he's a short-arse he got a few headers in there and raked it up and down the flank, he's looking a lot fitter just hope he doesn't become a podgemeister again!

Could potentially be a passable right-back for us, if he stays fit and interested.

Don't know what's happened to him since that injury he got at Spurs, never been much use to us in his time here. Definitely one I'm willing to give another chance though, as at his best he's a solid player.

Think Carr could come good. Played well after struggling at the end of last season. Absolutely crucial for his career to get it right this season, imo. I think it's too much to hope that Baba will get his act together as well.

He looked quite good IMO,guess he's started to recover from that season he had under Souness bombing up and down that wing with no winger infront of him.

His crossing was still poor, but overall,a pleasing performance from the man himself today

Carr has done ok last couple of games. I thought he was a write-off personally, but he looks fit and motivated. A surprise plus point of the pre-season so far.

The season hasn't even started yet. I agree with Ronaldo, think i'll wait to see how he does against a fully fit player first.

let's reserve judgement until he's put in a decent shift against a decent winger in the premiership

Because that Nedved fella is s****...

he's no longer a dangerous winger

Hahaha sorry thats total bollocks, tbh he's dangerous wherever he plays, as he showed today with his runs inside! Still wouldn't mind him in the team ;)

He seems much more mobile. Doesn't seem to take an age to get from one end of the field to another. Been good going forward as well so far.
