Krul Joins Falkirk In Loan Deal

DUTCH goalkeeper Tim Krul has joined Scottish Premier League side Falkirk on loan until January 1.

The 19-year-old has appeared once for the Magpies first-team, picking up the man-of-the-match award after a match-winning performance in the 1-0 victory against Palermo last season.

The Holland Under-21 star joins the Bairns this week ahead of their first league fixture at Gretna on Saturday.

It is a very good move.  He needs proper games,  and providing theres no injurys to Shay/Harper,  I imagine it'll be turned into a full season long loan.  Will look forward to seeing him in action

Are they in the top division?

If not pointless, rather him go to Leeds.

Yes, SPL.

And they only have 1 other 'keeper who is shite.

Spot on then, good move for him.

Good move, will also make him appreciate Newcastle more when he comes back.

are you saying he doesn't at the moment?

Nice.. Krul is a bright prospect for the future..

Hope he does well at Falkirk.

I would rather have him as our replacement to Given than Harper

Nope just that experiance at a smaller club will prevent him from becoming to big for his boots, regardless of whether hes that kind of lad (which i dont think he is).
