Guest Guinness
He's got a reputation that he doesn't deserve. He's versatile, but at £4m I'd be looking elsewhere if we're looking at him to fill in at right back.
lovejoy
he wont leave the north west, he likes living up his brothers bumhole. wont come here in a million imo

La Parka
Was good last season and would be a great addition as RB/ LB backup. Can't believe you people are slating him when our only option is Carr.....

Sparks
If this had was happening under Roeder, people would be jumping up and down. We don't need versatile squad players we need a specialist right back.

ohmelads
I think he'd improve the squad no end, but I don't think he'd significantly improve the first team and at 30, for £4m, it's a very short term signing. He's Everton's captain now isn't he? Can't see them selling. I think we can do better, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. He never gets injured, he's quite consistent, very versatile, English, a leader on and off the pitch.
toontownman
He has been excellent for Everton, enough so to shed his dodgy reputation previous. Would be a great signing, but I cant see Everton selling either. And for 4m Id rather spend on a proper RB or put a bit more on for Appiah.

Guest Moe-Ali
please no - no better than what we have, will just be an expensive squad player! If SOlano goes, name our better rb. And if you say Carr, you will be showing your ignorance of Newcastle United, never mind any other teams in the premiership. solano hasn't left yet has he? and as i haven't even mentioned carr's name you have no reason to insult me as for phil neville - i'd still not take him, even with your convincing argumentation... Just playing devil's advocate, if Sam thinks Nobby is a better RB why did he start fatty Carr on Saturday? he clearly thinks that carr is the better rb - i, however, personally disagree. i'd love for us to sign a new rb, just not phil neville (and i do not think that is his natural position either...) I'm not sam allardyce, but i have a feeling carr will soon be a back-up and we will sign a new RB fingers crossed.
jimmymag
Very underrated player. I'd say £4 million is overrating him by about 100%.

ohmelads
Didn't Sam say there's nothing left in England and suggest we'll be looking abroad? Whether he really means that though is another matter.

Guest Vigge
The general consenus seem to be that we need a right back. Phil Neville might do that job but I think in that case I would prefer Sam making 4 mil bid for Salgado. I also woul consider Nick SHorey for 4 mil he did a good job vs ManUre. Another option is that Sammy Boi pulls another Enrique, and just get us someone we never heard about. I dont see us signing Phil Neville.
Guest Johan
Rather have Neville than Salgado who would have to do a lot more adapting to the EPL. Its all about who is avaliable, and if Phil is for sale he wouldnt be a bad signing. Would suit the kind of hard to break down team that Sam is building. 1878
He only ever has a decent game for us when he's played at right back. Stupid rumour though. There's no way Moyes would sell his captain for a relatively small fee that we don't need.
