We don’t really have a CEO though, man. Or at least not one doing much beyond spell-checking his handover notes. YAR and PIF aren’t sitting around cooking up clever ways to game PSR; they’ve got sovereign wealth portfolios to manage. It’s not their job to dream up shirt-sleeve sponsorship tricks or academy asset flips. That’s what a competent executive team is for- to actually think ahead, build structures, and get the necessary sign-off. But until we have someone upstairs that does more than administrative busywork, there’s not much to judge imo.
-
Be delighted and actually someone I would stump up the cash for. Unfortunately it will be a load of shite.
-
David Unsworth moved from West Ham United to Aston Villa for £3 million, but within a month, he went to Everton for the same fee.
-
Yup. It'll be another Gordon/Hall situation. I'm ok with that as he's got bags of potential. We'll need a marquee signing or two mind to keep the links of Bruno, Isak happy.
-
...and sell Osula as well.
-
This is the original post they're referring to. About a month ago.
-
I would as well. We won't see him play much next season if we do though unless we have injuries
-
Would be an awful decision if that was the case, we would be going in to yet another season relying solely on Isak.
-
What a mess.
-
He’s in control of everything. He’s the King.
-
In a daft way I think it proves Osula will get more games, Wilson back up and no need to purchase an expensive replacement who would take games off Osula. More money to spend elsewhere
-
Is Eddie in charge of the club website now? He really is a control freak.
-
Eddie, this loyalty to your mates bullshit has to stop.
-
It'd be fun for the meltdown in fairness.
-
Elanga purely for the age.
-
West Ham want 60 million for Kudus, same price as Elanga. Who would people prefer?
-
Semenyo has signed a new contract at Bournemouth. Scratch that one off the list.
-
Ruddy is there also tbf.
-
The das would absolutely hate these two. You can practically hear the sigh as they break into a choreographed celebration.
-
Well by that rationale we should be equally horrified by the Union Flag then, given the tactics utilised by the Imperial Japanese were largely lifted straight from Mr Churchil's South African campaign. And we kind of lose all right to complain, given what we as a nation then did again a decade after the end of WW2, in Kenya during the Mau Mau uprising.
