  1. Past hour
  2. The lion that looks haunted after losing its family in a house fire
  3. Agreed, never understood this one myself. Should be able to attend a game sober and create an atmosphere still!
  4. This. Everyone knows what our crest is. Everyone around the world, because we’ve had it for decades. It actually stands out above all of the other wanky new crests that have assaulted our eyes over the last 10-20 years. What, the current one doesn’t work with digital platforms, how? You want it to sit swimming in a sea with a bunch of other bland, mediocre badges that some 20 year old graphic design shithead came up with, sitting proudly next to MK Dons roundabout?
  5. I couldn't give a rat's arse, tbf. "Legacy" Karen tears, tho
  6. Well according to them this is modernization ?this would be way down my list of things to update personally. It’s needless and we have pressing needs elsewhere.
  7. Fuck the lion off and put a magpie there and we can split the 750k
  8. How it's relevant to this topic I have no idea but what an odd thing to level at them.
  9. Friend in the graphic design world who has had jobs with premier league itself/clubs prior. Don't want to come across as that ITK wanker mind
  10. That's also the direction they say on the press release (minimal change).
  11. Ten Hag been havily rumoured for that job.
  12. Gorgeous. FWIW must PL badges are not ultra simple, so I expect something closer to this style of design.
  13. What is this shit about the crowd not being able to be as good/loud because its a 12pm KO? Can't sing because you have not had enough beer?
  14. Where have you seen that? If that’s true that’s palatable.
  15. Already done apparently. PL ruling that clubs have to ask fans for input - hence email today. Same/very similar badge but freshened up/modernised. Similar to Norwich badge rebrand.
  16. Found the survey a bit daft asking about the individual components. It's everything together that makes the badge what it is
  17. It's the real reason something to do with owning the rights to the badge and making more money? I might be wrong. Also the more simple the badge, the more shit they can stick it to and the more money there is to be made.
  18. It's a shame. Those over 45 will have seen badge changes, some of them multiple, and those under 20 won't have been as accustomed to it, depending on how long they have been I to football, but those in and around 40 will have known it for 30 or so years and will have been all they have known, so that age range will probably be affected the most. Obviously we'll see what they come up with, but if you have a design that's lasted the entirety of the Premier League era, then it just feels needless. I also like the fact it is one of very few that his changed in my lifetime.
  19. Aye that is a good one, but as you say a long time ago. Does look nice though
  20. Just watched the video and they ruled out a Juve style change. It’s going to be something like the change Inter or Man City did. The survey then asks which part of the logo are most important (flag, lion, castle, seahorse, shield and ribbon) - I would guess they’ll just simplify it by removing those that score lowest….
  21. Fair enough I prefer the old one but it’s not much of a change tbf
  22. Absolutely gutted this one is 12pm. 1630 I'd be 90% sure we do them comfortably. That being said, we should win. Yes they're decent, but we're at home and we are a big game team now. Our record at home under Howe when we really need to win tends to result in... a win. 3-1.
  23. No ofc not. I don’t believe that the issue of it being a “digitally replicable asset” is remotely severe enough to warrant a change.
  24. It's down to opinion though. I prefer Spurs badge to their old one and Chelseas to theirs. And while those old coat of arm badges hold historical significance, they aren't necessarily easy on the eye.
