    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Lack of athleticism seems to be the criticism at Liverpool, and presumably that’s after being loaded with asthma medication.
  3. Too small, slow and weak for an Eddie Howe RW or CM role If there is 1 player who done well at the Under 21's, it's Anderson
  4. I agree to an extent; because what you are suggesting is highly suspicious. The pple behind APT aren't mugs. These rules favour the cartel. Thats why I say the noises from the club on this, is to wait. Am pretty sure they would have weighed up you suggestion and decided not to push through with it (if we have thought it am sure they have)
  5. Doesnt suit our style of play? Over priced? Would help finance Liverpool's potential approach for our best player?
  6. A third or that? No chance it's half at worst and even then it's better than nothing? 30m min We've lost out ok because of this. Also, try and think pragmatically, if we can't use related parties who's giving us more? And bro what is that analogy, you can't nail failure and success to such words, it's obviously much more complex than buzzwords. Not to mention you are entirely missing the point im making which is simply if we to be "number 1" we will need the people making such statements to do more than they currently are.
  7. 'full of unfriendly ignorant toffs' Brilliant 😆👏👏👏
  8. Without trawling through previous posts, can anybody explain why we aren't in for Harvey Elliott?
  9. Benwell Lad

Yeah it was very open and used to attract crowds of hundreds, if not a thousand plus, especially during school holidays. That was after the Magpie Group take off. Benwell often had a few dozen passers by just walking in and watching, right up close to the games etc, hearing everything that was said and interacting with players and coaching staff freely. Pretty amazing really in comparison to today.
  10. I just remember that home game against Brighton in 2020 where he was shredded over and over. His positioning was shocking, and for a full back that is a fatal flaw. Perhaps if he’d had better coaching after he was signed he might have done ok.
  11. I live in a rural community and the local farmers are all top “shaggers” YMMV
  12. They still fall under fair market Value. For an example spurs get 20 million for both training ground and kit sponsor, we will likely be approved half that or a third. We qualify again next season for the CL, do you think they will make it easy for us to renegotiate? From a business perspective will it not be better to wait till our value goes up. Its what the club has communicated to us fans. So I would say they obviously know the constraints involved, and have made a decision to wait. I will not be critical of that personal but I do understand why most would be. Remember good business coupled with ambition leads to sustainable success like Man City. Ambition without good business sense leads to Man Utd.
  13. Look, if someone told you in 2023 that we were going to spend £40m someone that would have more bench performances than starts in the next 2 seasons, would we be excited? He has largely done well when called upon, and he will come in handy next season, but that doesn't mean that it was necessarily great business. It was just decent imo, which is fine. And to be clear, when I say questionable, I only mean one that you could maybe question. Here's what transfermarkt has to say about player values: Barnes percieved value hasn't gone up in years. He's still rated at 35m euros. Pedros value has been going up and he's rated at 50m currently. Do you think the top clubs are more likely to want Barnes (when we bought him) for 40m than Pedro for 60m? Pedros type is more sought after, and is why we faced more competition for him. Transfermarkt isn't perfect, but it's less biased than fans of the teams that the players are in.

I get what you are saying but if the owners wanted to push some Saudi sponsors through you could easily put £10m through on a one or two year contract now and then up it to £20m once that brand has grown in the future. Better than nothing and just shows that they don't have the desire to fully maximise their revenues for whatever reason.
  15. Is anyone really that bothered that this 1 didn't happen. The lad seems like a bit of a tit to be honest. Happy to go and sit on Chelsea's bench so he can spend his money in London ffs. He was probably thinking he didn't fancy Bruno and Big Joe telling him to sort out his shite every week. Not fussed at all that he's knocked us back.
  16. he was really bad, yeah. One of the worst I’ve seen play for us. He didn’t even try to defend crosses and was responsible for a goal going in practically every game for a while. Going forward he just… didn’t. Always passed it back or 5 yards to the side. He never had any confidence at all.
  17. Agree, was very odd last season when with the media making out it was some big achievement they got back in CL, as if they hadn't just spent a billion quid!
  18. The coward will be one of their main twats on there, I'd put money on it
  19. Aye he did but he also knows Sima has thousands of posts on there all very confusing
  20. Not sure about number one but by all accounts, he's a massive number two.
  21. I'm certain Ruxpin said he didn't bother with their forum when he first emerged
