Joelinton will always play the better teams when fit IMO, but I think against worse teams sometimes it could be worth sacrificing one of our midfield 3 for a bit more ability on the ball. Joelinton can play out wide as well though so he’ll always get plenty of game time.

Yeah, if you cherry-pick two seasons to make a point, especially when 20 plus games are in one season, you're right. But if you're being fair, you should look at the season with his serious injury separately. Plus, half the team was injured in 23/24. My point is, Big Joe averages 30 EPL games a season, so saying he's rarely fit is wrong. But I do need someone to cover for him, you know, for when he's rotated or suspended or has a knock.

Missing almost 30 games in two seasons is a lot. And this season he probably has even played when not fit.

I think their season is still running, and this will be a big tournament for them. European clubs are finished for season and most players don’t want to be there. My money would be on a Brazilian team to win the whole thing.
